Hi everyone! I'm Lola, 22 years old and from Vienna, Austria. I'll be moving to the Netherlands at the end of August to get my Masters in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University (The Hague Campus). Ideally, I'm trying to find a room in a shared apartment/house with roommates or a small apartment/studio either in The Hague, Leiden or Delft to rent for a little more than a year starting mid-August. I'm very excited to be studying "abroad" (or away from home, I guess) again, as I find that experiencing new cultures is one of the best things a young person can do. I'm a huge fan of traveling and I got my Bachelor's degree in the United States, so I think living somewhere different in Europe for my Masters will be a cool change. I'm used to living with people, I've always grown up with siblings and spent the last four years living with 1, 2 and all the way up to 6 people, so I'd say I'm quite adaptable and know how roommate life works. As for my free time, I looove all things food and going out to eat, hanging out with my roommates, reading, going out on the weekends but also having fun nights in. I would describe myself as outgoing, responsible, independent, easygoing, and fun to be around. I'm also a very active person, I've played tennis my whole life and played college sports while in the US but generally enjoy most sports (especially volleyball and football). I don't speak Dutch yet BUT I'll be learning, so for now I hope my German and English (and humble French) will suffice :). Excited to meet you guys!!

Hey, so a bit of context, I'm 24, finishing up my engineering degree at RWTH Aachen (mechanical/aerospace side of things), and I'll be in the area from September to end of January for an internship at ASML. I get that it's a short stay and I'd basically be stepping into someone else's spot for those few months, so I just want to be upfront that I'll treat it that way, keeping things clean and the noise down. Realistically I'll be pretty busy with work most of the week, and on weekends I'm usually in Maastricht seeing friends, so the room won't see much wear and tear. I speak German, English and Bulgarian so language isn't an issue, and I've lived in a few different cities already so settling in somewhere new isn't really a problem for me.
