I just finished my MSc in International Financial Management at the University of Groningen, and I'm now in the transition from studies into my first proper job in finance and analytics. I'm giving up my room in Groningen at the end of April and looking for a place for up to six months while I settle into work. Hoi! Even though I’m from abroad, I’d love to get to know Dutch people – so I try to adapt with my language! My name is Paula and I am 25 years old. I am studying Psychology as my second Bachelor degree in Leiden. I live here since one year after I ended my first bachelor in Sustainable Economics in Germany (Bonn). That was a nice time but figured out that Psychology is my path that I want to pursue. I am interested in conversations and people per se but also enjoy easy talks to laugh a lot. I can imagine to live in Leiden or The Hague. I do acting since a long time ago, started freshly with tennis and my next project is, of course, to learn dutch. I honestly didn't have time to go to a dutch course but I listen to my dutch tennis trainer every Monday for one hour. So I somehow understand it a bit, but I want to learn it for sure!
