I am originally from Frankfurt am Main (Germany), but moved to Amsterdam last summer, to attend university. I knew right from the start, that this would be my city - the architecture, the freedom of biking, the music and yes, also the people. During my first year of uni, I was lucky to be able to live in student accommodation, where I met a lot of cool people. However, this contract is running out soon. Now, I am very much looking forward to finding a new home and maybe getting to know some nice new roommates. I am a very social person, who loves playing cards, cooking dinner together, and going for pub crawls. However, there is always a balance. Some days I spent studying, dancing to The Smiths alone in my room and going for a run to free up my head. I love exploring new parts of the city, whenever I can. In fact, I now also work as a city tour guide and get to exchange my experiences with others. Additionally, my parents support me financially and would serve as guarantors. I have their income statements ready and will be happy to provide them upon request. I don't smoke, nor do I have any pets - unless plants count. ;) Appreciate that you read this text! Hi! I'm Alex, I'm a first-year Maths undergraduate at the University of Groningen, planning to stay in Groningen for at least two more years to complete my degree. I am currently living in student accommodation (SSH), sharing a flat with 7 other students, and get along well with everyone. However, I need to relocate starting from July/August 2025. Regarding myself, I am a clean, responsible, and financially reliable person. I am very focused on my studies and value a quiet, well-organized home environment. While I dedicate a lot of time to my academic work, I also enjoy socialising and sharing meals or conversations with housemates from time to time. I am a non-smoker and enjoy practicing sports in my free time, mainly football, which helps me stay active and balanced. My ideal rental would be in a quiet, well-connected neighborhood in or around Groningen, where students or young professionals typically live. Hello! My name is Mikhail, I'm a Dance student, starting in the ArtEZ University this autumn. I'm looking for a place to live in Arnhem while I study, so I'm interested in the student rooms and apartments. I'm an introverted person, using the place I live in as a space to be alone, re-charge, have a rest. This means practically zero to none parties or other loud social activities in the room, although I'm always open to such plans when it's happening outdoors. In my experience I do not spend a lot of time at home, usually it is an evening rest after busy (studying) day. Overall, I would say I'm striving to achieve a calm, clean and conscious way of life in the room/appartement I rent; I do not regularly drink alcohol and do not smoke completely. My main focus of staying in Arnhem is studying, so all my attention I plan on giving to it.

I am living alone, my two children are living on their own and I would like now to have some company. I am retired, was working my whole life at the university as professor (computing science and cognitive psychology). I have a nice garden, working in it is my new hobby; I like to cook but also I like to learn new dishes! So we have to see what we can do together. It is important for me that the student is here in Amsterdam for studying and not for holidays, so putting the study on the first place. Hee, mijn naam is Lisa, ik ben 19 jaar oud en ga volgend jaar Nanobiologie studeren aan de TU. Op dit moment zit ik in een tussenjaar, waarbij ik werk als thuiszorg voor ouderen en hier en daar wat mooie reisjes maak. Hiernaast ben ik erg sportief (wandelen, gym, padel, etc.), daarom zou ik volgend jaar graag bij een sportvereniging willen gaan. Ik sta altijd open voor de gezelligheid van een spelletje, een feestje of een andere activiteit! Uiteraard geniet ik zo nu en dan wel van een drankje op het terras of op de piste. Tot slot hou ik enorm van koken en bakken, dit zal ik daarom ook graag doen voor mijn toekomstige huisgenootjes ;)
