Hi, I’m Thanos. I’m a PhD student with a background in architecture, and I will be moving to Eindhoven for an internship. I’m looking for a furnished room in Eindhoven, preferably for a temporary stay from mid-June until mid-October, but I can be a bit flexible. I’m tidy, respectful, and used to living with other people. I like a home that feels calm and clean, but also friendly and social. I would describe myself as easy-going, curious and independent. I enjoy spending time with housemates, cooking or eating together (you have to try my Greek food recipes), having a drink or a relaxed evening at home, and having interesting conversations, but I also have my own routine and really respect everyone’s personal space. In my free time I enjoy art, design, films, travelling, hiking, cycling, and being active outdoors. I’m mainly looking for a nice place where I can feel at home during my stay in Eindhoven and hopefully share a good atmosphere with the people I live with. ✌️

Ik heb heel veel zin om te gaan studeren in Delft en al helemaal veel zin om op kamers te gaan. Op dit moment ben ik bezig met mijn Dienjaar. Ik woon en werk nu voor een jaar bij de marine aan boord van een oorlogsschip als matroos. Ik zit bij de technische dienst waarbij ik vooral lekker aan het klussen ben. Een lekkende kraan is geen probleem meer ;). Ik ben mee geweest op verschillende reizen en heb al heel wat havens aangedaan. Daar maken we de gekste dingen mee. Verder houd ik van sporten, reizen, muziek maken en van hiken. In Delft zou ik graag lid willen worden van een studentenvereniging. Weten jullie een leuke vereniging? I'm Justin (he/him), a 26-year-old American composer and violinist moving to The Hague in August 2026 on a Fulbright US Student Grant to study computer music at the Institute of Sonology (Royal Conservatoire). My project involves composing a new work for spatial audio using field recordings from The Hague—so I'll be spending a lot of time with headphones on, not throwing parties :) Looking to move in in mid-August but flexible with the date. I'm quiet, clean, and easygoing—I currently work as a music therapist and teach violin to kids, so I keep fairly regular hours. Outside of music I practice Zen meditation and watch way too many animated shows. I grew up on the East Coast and have lived in New York, New Mexico, and Seattle, so I'm adaptable and used to navigating new cities. I'm looking for a studio or a room in a shared apartment (ideally at least semi-furnished, private or semi-private bathroom) in The Hague or nearby — Delft also works great. Budget €800–1,100/month. My grant is guaranteed funding from the US government, so there are no income concerns. Happy to do a video call with any landlord or housemates before committing — I think it's important for everyone to feel comfortable.
