I was born and raised in beautiful Portugal, in the mountainous city of Sintra, but I have lived in the Netherlands for over a year now. Despite the loveliness of my home country, I’ve always wanted to move abroad and experience new adventures and challenges that would enable my professional and personal growth. I moved to the Netherlands to fulfil my dream: to have a job that contributes to building a more sustainable planet for all of us, and that is why I have worked, for over a year, at Rabobank’s Innovation Department as an environmental engineer, specialized in carbon monitoring and reporting. Because of my work, I want to stay in Utrecht. I am looking for a small apartment studio with enough space for one. I am a typical short Portuguese woman, so I fit perfectly in tiny places; I can always make the best of them. I am also eager to live in a calm place, as past experiences living in the city centres made me appreciate silence and tranquillity. I enjoy cooking, taking walks in the community, and cherish both time spent with friends and enjoying solitude. Reading is something I do most often. As a graduate of the Fine Arts department, I also enjoy documenting life with brushes and cameras, sharing what I see, and respecting the comfortable distance between people.
