Ik zoek een kamer om mijn zelfstandige leven voort te zetten! Ik ben 20 jaar en werk liever dan dat ik een opleiding volg dus heb ik deze zomer besloten om met het werkende leven ook een plekkie buiten het huis van mijn ouders in Overveen te zoeken. Ik heb een kamer gevonden in haarlem in een huis die ik deel samen met huisgenoten. Dit huis gaat alleen verbouwd worden in januari dus zal ik helaas een ander onderkomen moeten zoeken. Hoi! Ik ben Daniel (27), oorspronkelijk uit Duitsland, en vanaf oktober begin ik als fulltime onderzoeksmedewerker aan de TU Delft, waar ik onderzoek doe binnen de sociologie van klimaatfinanciering. Mijn contract is voor één jaar, maar het kan uitgroeien tot een promotietraject. Voor nu kijk ik vooral of een carrière in de wetenschap bij mij past. Ik heb net mijn studie in Londen afgerond en kijk er erg naar uit om aan mijn eerste "echte" baan te beginnen. Een kleine waarschuwing: ik spreek nog geen Nederlands (alleen Duits, Engels en een beetje Spaans), maar ik ben zeker van plan om het te leren. Ik ben een ontspannen en gezellige huisgenoot, kook graag (meestal vegetarisch) en ben makkelijk om mee samen te wonen. Ik woon al jaren in gedeelde huizen en vind dat nog steeds erg leuk. Of het huis nu heel sociaal is of juist wat rustiger, allebei is prima – zolang we niet alleen als vreemden langs elkaar heen leven. In mijn vrije tijd sport ik graag, vooral rugby, ben ik graag buiten, speel ik piano en drink ik af en toe graag een biertje of iets anders gezelligs. Samen eten lijkt me ook leuk.
