I'm Olawale, a Master's student at the University of Groningen, moving in on the 27th of August for the full academic year. Ik heb een verantwoordelijke financiële situatie, spaar elke maand en daarnaast staat een familielid garant. Na het afronden van mijn studie binnen elke maanden, ga ik fulltime werken en zal de overstap maken naar werk binnen mijn vakgebied: de journalistiek. In mijn vrije tijd doe ik aan fotografie, wandelen en sporten in de natuur, koken en (buitenlands) nieuws volgen. Wat een ruimte/woning betreft ben ik al zeer tevreden met een rustige kamer van in ieder geval 10 m2, met eventueel een kitchenette. Badkamer en andere voorzieningen deel ik graag en hou deze net zo graag in nette staat. Hi everyone! I'm Lola, 22 years old and from Vienna, Austria. I'll be moving to the Netherlands at the end of August to get my Masters in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University (The Hague Campus). Ideally, I'm trying to find a room in a shared apartment/house with roommates or a small apartment/studio either in The Hague, Leiden or Delft to rent for a little more than a year starting mid-August. I'm very excited to be studying "abroad" (or away from home, I guess) again, as I find that experiencing new cultures is one of the best things a young person can do. I'm a huge fan of traveling and I got my Bachelor's degree in the United States, so I think living somewhere different in Europe for my Masters will be a cool change. I'm used to living with people, I've always grown up with siblings and spent the last four years living with 1, 2 and all the way up to 6 people, so I'd say I'm quite adaptable and know how roommate life works. As for my free time, I looove all things food and going out to eat, hanging out with my roommates, reading, going out on the weekends but also having fun nights in. I would describe myself as outgoing, responsible, independent, easygoing, and fun to be around. I'm also a very active person, I've played tennis my whole life and played college sports while in the US but generally enjoy most sports (especially volleyball and football). I don't speak Dutch yet BUT I'll be learning, so for now I hope my German and English (and humble French) will suffice :). Excited to meet you guys!!
