Mijn naam is Laura, ik ben 17 jaar en zit op 6 VWO. Na mijn examen ga ik biomedische technologie studeren bij de UT. Daar heb ik heel veel zin in. Ook heb ik zin om het studentenleven te leren kennen. Ik ben een rustig en behulpzaam persoon, die graag tijd doorbrengt met huisgenoten, maar ook mijn eigen ding kan doen. Mijn hobby’s zijn: zeilen, windsurfen, zelfverdediging, boogschieten en het maken van iets lekkers zoals mocktails, sushi en toetjes. Wat ik ook nog leuk vind om te doen zijn stedentrips maken, een filmpje pakken of een leuke avond activiteit. Wat ik zoek in een huis is een fijne sfeer, waar iedereen zichzelf kan zijn en waar ook samen gekookt of gechilld wordt.

Hello! My name is Balázs, I’m a 23-year-old Hungarian student, and I am currently studying Political Science at the UvA. I expect to graduate in July of next year, so I would be interested in renting the room at least until the 31st of July 2026. I have been living in Leiden for the past 2 years, but I broke up with my partner and therefore I am looking to move away as soon as possible. Preferably to a cozy room in Amsterdam or the surrounding area. A bit about me: I am finishing my Political Science bachelor this semester, but I decided to extend my studies and do an Economics related minor, which takes 1 year to complete. Aside from studying, I work in a traditional Dutch Cheese store (I can always bring some nice cheeses for you). I am also part of a student association called AEGEE. I’ve also been volunteering at an NGO specialized in the prevention of labor exploitation of immigrant workers called Fairwork. I’m a quiet, calm, and tidy person who has lived in a small town called Sopron in Hungary most of his life and has been living in the Netherlands for the past two years already. I would like to move to Amsterdam or at least closer to the city. This is because I think it is an amazing place, and my job and my school are there. I'm a non-smoker, have no pets, I pay the rent on time, I have a stable job and income, and I always respect any set rules. Aside from what I mentioned before, I enjoy watching movies, taking care of plants, hiking, biking and traveling in my free time. I’m a student (not working at the moment), 21, from Slovakia. I love practically everything to do with art (I spend a sizeable amount of time listening to music, dancing, reading, crocheting…), which is also why I chose to study an art programme in Groningen, and I’m currently finishing my first year. I’m looking for a place to stay - either a room in a shared living space, or a self-contained studio - from the summer onwards (mainly from August, but July works just as well), at least for a year (ideally for two). I’m a responsible, tidy, and friendly person, though I also like alone time as I am an introvert by nature.

I am quite familiar with having roommates, as I lived in 4 differents flats during my studies both in London and Edinburgh! As a flatmate, I’d describe myself as tidy, open-minded, quite easy going and very considerate of others. I enjoy spending time with the people I live with, whether that’s cosy dinners. a good chat over a cup of tea or drinks!
