I’m Sara, 23, and I’ll be moving from Slovenia to Groningen for my master’s studies. I’m very tidy and organized, and I really appreciate living in a nice, cosy environment. Some of my hobbies include knitting, cooking, and working out. I’ve previously lived abroad in Germany, France, and Australia, so I’m experienced with renting and sharing a home with different kinds of people.

Ik ben Lena, 19 jaar en ik studeer sinds september dit jaar in Utrecht. Geboren en opgegroeid in Munchen, maar omdat mijn vader Nederlander is, praat ik ook nederlands (okay, ik geef toe, een beetje accent hoor je nog wel). Ik woon al in Utrecht en ben daarom heel flexibel voor hospi avonden / bezichtigingen. Even iets over mij: Ik studeer Politics, Philosophy and Economics, lees en teken graag en ga graag zwemmen. Voordat ik naar Utrecht ben gekomen, heb ik al een tijdje alleen gewoond. Nu woon ik met vier huisgenoten op Science Park, maar moet de kamer helaas weer verlaten, omdat ik hier als onderhuurder woon. Ik heb het graag netjes en schoon, doe graag mijn eigen ding, maar vind het ook leuk af en toe samen te eten of iets te drinken.

Ik ben Simon de Bruijn, en ik studeer op het moment Creative Technology op de UT. Ik ben een rustig persoon, drink niet, hou niet van feesten, en mijn meest bijzondere hobby is digitaal tekenen. Wel vind ik gezelligheid leuk, zo lang het maar niet naar het extreem wordt getrokken. Ik zou wel graag weer badminton op willen pakken, maar gezien het feit dat ik tot nu toe een uur op en neer moet om van mijn huis naar de UT te komen heb ik hier nog geen tijd voor genomen. My name is Asit, and I will be starting my Master’s program in Energy Science at Utrecht University from 1st September. I come from a civil engineering background and hold a master’s degree in Construction Project Management. Over the past three years, I have been working in India and living in shared apartments, as my parents are currently based in Tunisia. This has made me quite accustomed to communal living and has helped me build a deep appreciation for shared spaces and mutual respect. I am enthusiastic about creating a warm and friendly home environment, where everyone feels welcome and at ease. I genuinely enjoy bonding with flatmates and would be delighted to plan a summer holiday together to Tunisia, should we all get along well and share that interest. Cleanliness is very important to me, and I am quite meticulous when it comes to maintaining common spaces. I am also happy to participate in or help organize a cleaning and cooking schedule, ensuring everyone’s comfort. I enjoy cooking and am fairly proficient with Indian cuisine—my chicken curry is usually a hit! Overall, I am an easy-going and agreeable person and have had only positive experiences with flatmates so far. Moving in Eindhoven for an exchange program. I’m planning to stay from around January 22nd until early August. I’m 20 years old, and I’ve always dreamed of living in Europe!
