Hi! I am Mariana Peña (24), and I’m originally from Mexico. I moved to the Netherlands for my master's at the VU. I’ll be graduating this summer and starting my career in sustainability. So I’m now looking for a place, preferably in the Amsterdam area. I am clean, organized, and respectful. I have experience with shared housing in the Netherlands, so I’m used to adapting to others’ routines and sharing communal areas. I don’t smoke and generally prefer a calm living environment, but I am easygoing and can adapt. I love crafts, journaling, museums, boardgames and puzzles. My daily life is pretty calm and chill, and I expect it to stay that way when I start working full-time and on the weekend, explore the city and visit new places. My mother tongue is Spanish, I speak English, and I am learning Dutch. My ideal environment is a place that feels nice and cozy due to a respectful/friendly environment. I actually prefer a shared living arrangement over a private studio due to the little community that we can create, but if a more independent vibe is preferred, that´s also okay with me. Hallo! Ik ben Imme, ik ben 18 jaar oud en vanaf September start ik mijn studie Toegepaste Psychologie in Tilburg! Ik heb hier enorm veel zin in en kijk er erg naar uit om een fijne plek te vinden, die ik tijdens mijn studietijd thuis kan noemen. Ik ben een vriendelijke en sociale meid, maar aan de andere kant ook erg rustig en respectvol. Schoonmaken en schone leefomgevingen zijn voor mij vanzelfsprekend, hier zal ik dus ook mijn best voor doen. Mijn hobby's zijn momenteel hardlopen, koken/bakken en ik hou ervan om creatief bezig te zijn, bijvoorbeeld mijn eigen kleding maken!

Ik ben Yeabtsega en ik zit momenteel in mijn laatste bachelorjaar in het conservatorium van Brussel. Ik studeer klassieke uitvoerende muziek, op tuba. Mijn voorstudies: Ik ben begonnen op trompet toen ik in het middelbaar zat en moest dan omschakelen naar tuba, door een beugel. Die omschakeling was pittig, maar daar door heb ik wel doorzettingsvermogen gecreëerd. […] In mijn vrije tijd zit ik in mijn vijfde en ook wel laatste jaar op de scouts, waar ik leiding geef aan verschillende leeftijden. Ik help graag mensen. Ik ben heel benieuwd en gemotiveerd om te leren hoe ik mensen kan helpen met muzikale interactie. Door mijn muzikale achtergrond helpt het me op een goede basis te vormen in muziek. Ik sta graag op het podium, waar ik mijn muziek door emoties kan brengen. Maar het liefst zou ik dit gerichter en persoonlijker willen doen. De opleiding muziektherapie in Enschede spreekt mij aan vanwege het een conservatorium is. Het muzikale gedeelte is even belangrijk als de therapie. Ik ben heel benieuwd om te zien wat mijn persoonlijke ontwikkeling zal eruit zien. Ik hoorde de term “zelfreflectie” een aantal keren vallen op de opendeurdag. Dat lijkt me al heel interessant en uitdagend.
