Xx Op dit moment is er geen kamer beschikbaar. Xx Wij zijn een gezin (een vader, 2 dochters 23/25, studentes). Ze wonen op kamers in Den Haag en Leiden en studeren aan een universiteit. We hebben ervaring met het verhuur van kamers, ook voor een van de buren in de straat wat voor beide partijen goed was bevallen. Ruim 6 maanden lang hebben studentes uit Polen, Italie, Spanje, Frankrijk, Chili, Nederland, Turkije, Slovakia, Frankrijk, Indonesië en studerend in Leiden en Den Haag hier een kamer gehuurd. Er zijn 2 privékamers voor studenten beschikbaar en soms tijdelijk een kamer die voor een korte periode als wisselkamer wordt gebruikt. Dit adres is eerder gescreend door TakeCareBnB/Rode Kruis en de eigenaar heeft een VOG-verklaring vanwege meerdere opvang van Oekraïense vluchtelingen maar die zijn inmiddels elders onder gebracht. Delen van het huis wordt op dit moment verduurzaamd en gerenoveerd, maar we proberen zo min mogelijk het overlast te beperken. De aangeboden kamers zijn klaar voor gebruik en waren tot voor kort verhuurd aan een studente uit Spanje/Chili en Polen. Referenties zijn beschikbaar. Vanwege de samenstelling van het gezin en inrichting van het huis, willen we enkel een studente van het vrouwelijke geslacht die Nederlands en/of Engels spreekt. Voldoe je daar niet aan, dan heeft het geen zin om te reageren. Mijn Engels is matig/redelijk maar communiceren lukt prima. De sfeer is heel relaxed en behalve huishoudelijke afspraken kan je lekker jezelf zijn. Je zal je snel thuisvoelen en een introductieprogramma rond Leidschendam is mogelijk. Ook is er een kaart beschikbaar waarmee je gratis of met korting naar sommige musea kan gaan. Westfield The Mall is een van de grootse winkelcentra van Europa en is 10 minuten fietsen hier vandaan en in de omgeving is ook een heel mooi natuurgebied. In 30 minuten sta je in het centrum in Den Haag of sta je op het strand in Scheveningen. Gebruik van de wasmachine, droger en wasmiddel is inbegrepen. My English is not perfect and good communication is necessary if you live in 1 house. The atmosphere is very relaxed and there are few rules except for household arrangements. I am a 24-year-old Canadian law student from Toronto. I have been in Groningen since August 2025. I came to Groningen as part of my Canadian University’s partnership with RUG that allowed me to finish my Canadian Juris Doctor degree and enabled me to get an LLM at RUG. As such, currently, I have completed the Juris Doctor degree and am wrapping up my LLM in Law and Technology at the RUG. In Canada, the study of law is exclusively a graduate study. As a result, I also have an Undergraduate Degree from the University of Toronto. Initially, I planned to go back to Toronto for work after the completion of my study in Groningen. However, I have fallen in love with the city and its walkability/cyclability. As a result, I plan to stay in the city for some time and establish a legal career in Europe. Currently, I am in the process of searching for a legal job. In the meantime, I have lined up some part time work to keep up with expenses. Although surprised, my family is supportive of my decision to stay in Groningen and are willing to act as my financial safety net, if needed. I have been paying 800 EUR for my current SSH accommodation and can provide the receipts. Apart from my study and work-based pursuits, I have kept engaged with hobbies in the city including Salsa and Ballroom dancing. Voor nu staat een simpele maar inspirerende baan op het menu. Daarnaast doe ik veel aan zwemmen, yoga en sowieso in de natuur zijn.
