Hi everyone! My name is Juan, I am 21 years old, and I am moving to the Netherlands this August to begin my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) at TU Delft. I have already fully finalized my university registration, paid my financial guarantee, and secured my student visa, so my finances and paperwork are 100% stable and ready to go. A bit about me: I am currently finishing up my mandatory military service in the South Korean Air Force. Because of this, I am incredibly disciplined, highly value a clean and structured living environment, and deeply respect house rules, shared chores, and quiet hours. When I’m not diving into coding projects or studying, I’m a big PC gamer (I love complex strategy games), a massive sports and Formula 1 fan, and I really enjoy creative writing. I also love cooking and trying out new recipes. What I am looking for: I am looking for a room or studio for at least 6 to 12 months (ideally longer). As a housemate, I am quiet and independent when it's time to focus on a demanding engineering degree, but I am also highly social and love a home with good chemistry—whether that means sharing a meal, watching a race/match together, playing board games, or having deep conversations over coffee. I am a strict non-smoker and do not bring any pets. Since I am currently wrapping up my military service abroad, I cannot attend in-person viewings immediately, but I am fully available and happy to jump on a video call (Zoom, WhatsApp, Teams) to introduce myself properly! Hi misschien wel toekomstige huisgenootjes, Mijn naam is Catharina, ik ben 19 jaar oud en kom uit Lunteren. Deze zomer begin ik als eerstejaars aan de bachelor Technische Bestuurskunde. Ik heb heel veel zin om te gaan studeren in Delft en al helemaal veel zin om op kamers te gaan. Op dit moment ben ik bezig met mijn Dienjaar. Ik woon en werk nu voor een jaar bij de marine aan boord van een oorlogsschip als matroos. Ik zit bij de technische dienst waarbij ik vooral lekker aan het klussen ben. Een lekkende kraan is geen probleem meer ;). Ik ben mee geweest op verschillende reizen en heb al heel wat havens aangedaan. Daar maken we de gekste dingen mee. Verder houd ik van sporten, reizen, muziek maken en van hiken. In Delft zou ik graag lid willen worden van een studentenvereniging. Weten jullie een leuke vereniging?
