Ik heb ervoor gekozen om in Nederland te studeren omdat ik al verliefd was geworden op het land toen ik een uitwisselingsjaar deed in een klein dorpje vlakbij Eindhoven (De Mortel). Daar woonde ik bij een Nederlands gezin en ging naar een Nederlandse school en daarom spreek ik de taal nu vloeiend (ook al is het in de loop van de tijd misschien een beetje roestig geworden;) Ik ben een heel makkelijk en open persoon en help graag waar ik kan! Als het bijvoorbeeld gaat om schoonmaken of opruimen, ben ik zeer verantwoordelijk en betrouwbaar. Hoewel ik met andere mensen samen zou wonen, hoop ik niet alleen met huisgenoten te zijn, maar ook af te kunnen spreken met vrienden om bijvoorbeeld af en toe een kook- of filmavond te houden of gaan picknicken. Ik ben een rustige en serieuze jongen van 19 jaar en ik zoek een kamer voor de dagen dat ik in Leiden moet zijn om er te studeren en te slapen. Momenteel reis ik vanuit Nijmegen op en neer naar Leiden voor mijn studie Taalwetenschap; in het weekend en de college-vrije periodes zal ik thuis in Nijmegen zijn. In mijn vrije tijd luister ik naar muziek en kijk ik films en series, altijd met een koptelefoon. Ik rook niet en drink geen alcohol. I work in Fashion but I'm still studing in Milan. I'm a respectful guy, I'm very friendly, quiet and I like to clean (this is definetly my german side). My days in Amsterdam are going to be very busy, I'll work full-time at Karl Lagerfeld and in the meantime I'll follow 2 different online courses. For some evenings of May and June I'm going to do this online pattern making short course and every saturday I'm going to do a traditional pattern making course that I will follow online hopefully in the Karl Lagerfeld offices.

Initially, I moved here to study, but, eventually, I fell in love with the Netherlands and decided to stay 🤍 Where do I live now and why am I moving? Currently, I live in an apartment in Nieuw-West with one roommate, however, my rental contract was only one year, so now is the time for me to look for a new place I can call home. When am I moving? I am looking for a room from June onward but I am flexible and can also move in sooner! Am I tidy? I am Austrian, I think being organized and tidy is in our DNA 😄 But seriously, I think when sharing your living space it's important to clean up after yourself and just be considerate of one another (and have open communication!) Who else am I bringing? No one! It's just me and my 3 plants (but they are barely hanging on for dear life… so we'll see if they make it) BUT I am always buying fresh flowers (see picture as a reference 🌸) What do I do when I am not working? Generally, I am a quite quiet and relaxed person. Since my job is very demanding, I am usually tired when I get home. However, I am always up for a chat :) Weekends I either spend with friends at a nice brunch spot, go to a museum, the gym, or a nice walk, or just relax with a nice book. Am I a party girl? On a good day, I barely make it to 11.00 pm before I hit the bed 😴 but then again, if you wanna have a glass of wine in the kitchen and talk about life...say less 🍷 Some other things you should know? I don't have any pets, I don't smoke and I would like to rent a room for at least 1 year, but preferably longer if that's possible. I'm Kaushik. I'm looking for an accommodation from the start of September at Arnhem for a duration of 3 months. To tell in short about me. I'm a master's student at University of Twente. Recently I've got an internship offer at Arnhem for which I need to stay for a duration of 3 months. I can mix with people and would love to travel few places around Arnhem as I couldn't do the same during my busy first year at Enschede. And, I'm a veggie, non-smoker, and don't have any pet with me but I don't have any problem to share room with people who smoke or have a pet (I'm quite adaptive).
