Hii! My name is Alba and I'm from Spain but fluent in both English and spanish. I'm 18 years old and will be finishing my first year of Biomedical Engineering at RUG in June. I have completed with success my previous education at the King’s College, the British School of Alicante. I have spent a year sharing a flat with no issues at all. I think I'm a very easy going person and, of course, I expect to and am willing to take responsibility for chores around the house like cleaning, cooking etc... I am excited to start my second year at university and hopefully make some new friends!

Hi! Ik ben Norah en op zoek naar een kamer in Rotterdam, aangezien ik binnenkort een opleiding ga starten en daarbij ook een aantal dagen per week wil werken. Na mijn VWO afgerond te hebben, heb ik 2 tussenjaren genomen om te werken en te reizen. Ik ben voorheen werkzaam geweest als o.a. surfinstructrice, winkelmedewerker en horecamedewerker. Daarnaast ligt mijn grote passie bij het begeleiden van jongeren. Hier haal ik veel energie uit en hoop dit dan ook nog lang te mogen doen! Ik ben bekend met de altijd bruisende stad Rotterdam, aangezien er een hoop vrienden wonen waar ik regelmatig te vinden ben. Hey, my name is Kerrin, I´m 24 and a soon to be Master´s student from Germany looking for a place to live in Leiden or close by that ideally comes with nice people to live with and will hopefully feel like a home for the next few years. I´m currently finishing my Bachelor´s of molecular medicine in Tübingen, Germany, and will specialize in Biology and Science Communication in the future. Being interested in communication also means that I put great emphasis on a well-functioning communication in a shared flat and with people in general. It is very important to me that everyone´s needs can be talked about and are respected (including e.g. clean common spaces, quiet times, consideration of stressfull times, etc.). I´ve lived in two different shared flats and a student residence so far and loved the feeling of community and activities like cooking together, trips, or board game nights. I´m not much of a party person but will always be happy to join you for a cup of coffee or a walk on the beach. My friends describe me as empathetic, determined, well-organized, and funny and in my free time I like to be creative, spend time outside or cooking, meeting friends over a coffee, or learn a new language. Besides English and German, I´ve had fun learning Swedish and am currently getting into Spanish and Dutch. It would be great to have flatmates who could see themselves contributing to my Dutch too. Pearks of living with me would include that I can take very good care of your plants while you´re away and that I have lots of great recipes from my time working at the bakery of my favorite café. I am a very calm, respectful and educated person. Totally respect the space and privacy of others. The most important thing for me, when it comes to renting a room, are the people with whom I am going to share my stay and live with. I don't bring people home, it's not my style. I wake up early around 6am and go to bed early around 10pm. In my free time I like to go out to play sports at the gym or to a park to do cardio. The hours I will have to work during my stay will depend on the job and its schedules, I have several things in mind, but my choice will depend on the conditions and which job interests me most. I speak Spanish and Catalan perfectly, native level. I also speak French at a very high level. And I also speak English at a basic level. I have a Spanish driving license. In addition to working, I would like to take an English course to perfect it and I want to find out about the Yacht Captain and Offshore Yacht Master courses, which I am very interested in. I am aware that Holland has a great nautical activity like Barcelona, and I think it could be great to train there. I have lived alone in an apartment in the center of Barcelona since March 2021 until today. I can prove it with the contract in my name and the monthly payments. I have financial solvency.
