Besides calisthenics, I am looking for another sport, which might become bouldering and/or cycling. Currently I'm in the process of moving to the Netherlands and this will be my initial base whilst I look for a home to rent. My employer is based within Amsterdam and so I would ideally prefer to find a suitable studio or room within a commutable distance so I would ideally like to find a place within Holland, but I am open to commuting futher. Mijn naam is Yente van der Veen, ik ben 21 jaar en ik woon sinds de zomer van 2022 in Groningen. Ik ben opgegroeid (met mijn ouders en zusje) in Winsum, ik heb mijn VWO-diploma behaald op het Werkman Stadslyceum in Groningen en ik volg nu de Engelstalige studie Spatial Planning and Design aan de RUG. Bij deze bachelor staan ruimtelijke planning en ruimtelijk ontwerpen centraal en leer je meer over infrastructuur-, milieu- en watermanagement. De studie bevalt me erg goed, met name het designcomponent vind ik een erg leuk onderdeel! Anderen omschrijven mij als een sportieve, rustige, onafhankelijke en vrolijke meid. Ik vind het leuk om met anderen te kletsen en een drankje te doen, maar ik vind het ook fijn om op mijn eigen kamer te relaxen. Mijn hobby's zijn o.a. hockey, skiën, reizen, het kijken naar voetbal, hockey en de grandprix en social media. Ik ben lid van een commissie van de faculteitsvereniging en ik ben bij de hockeyclub betrokken als scheidsrechter en lid van de PR commissie.
