I’m Sara, I’m 29 years old and I’m Italian. I’m currently doing a PhD in Italy in Turin, where I’ve been living for the past 10 years. I’m originally from Sardinia, so I’m quite used to living far from home, moving around and living in rented apartments! Now I’m moving to Utrecht for a semester at the Science Park, and I’m really excited about this new experience. I would say I’m a very outgoing person. I love meeting new people, having long conversations and spending evenings together, especially if there is some good food and a nice glass of wine involved.... but I’m also happy with a cold beer! I’m quite active and I love going for long walks, exploring new places and sometimes just getting lost in the streets of a city and taking pictures along the way. I love dancing and cooking, but despite being quite an outgoing person, I also really enjoy having some time for myself, reading a book at home. One thing you’ll probably learn about me pretty quickly is that I’m slightly obsessed with Hungary. I spent a year there as an exchange student when I was in high school, more than 10 years ago, and I still talk about it way too much. Hey! I'm Lukas, 25, originally from Germany, and I'm moving to Amsterdam in autumn to start my first job after finishing my master's. I'll be working as an AI engineer, focusing on computer vision. I can provide contract information and pay if needed. I've been living in shared flats since I moved out at 18, in a few different cities, so I know what makes flat life work. I'm tidy, quiet and respectful of other people's space. Ideally I'd love a place where we get along and sometimes hang out, cook together or grab a drink, but where everyone also gets their quiet time when they need it. In my free time I play piano (its a digital one and i have headphones dont worry) and try to stay active with tennis, running and the gym. I speak English fluently and I'm learning Dutch. Hallo, Ik ben Jing Mei (23 jaar) en studeer aan de HAN in Nijmegen. Hier voor heb ik al twee jaar op mijzelf gewoond. Dus de benodigde ervaring is aanwezig. Het liefst zoek ik zo spoedig mogelijk een (semi) studio in omgeving Arnhem - Nijmegen. Ik ben een sociaal persoon, maar ben ook erg gesteld op mijn rust. Ik ga netjes en zorgvuldig om met de woonplek, betaal de huur ook altijd op tijd en verder nooit problemen veroorzaakt of klachten gehad van vorige huurbazen. Zelf ga ik ook niet elke week feesten, rook niet en drink bijna nooit. Op de vroege ochtenden vind ik het heerlijk om mijn dag te beginnen in de sportschool. Verder vind ik het heel erg ontspannend om te koken of te bakken, lezen, wandelingen maken en schrijven. Ik werk bij de Albert Heijn in Oosterbeek en heb hier een vast contract, dus een stabiel inkomen is aanwezig. Hierdoor kan ik ook mijn werkplek makkelijk verplaatsen naar Nijmegen als ik hier een mooi aanbod vindt. Recentelijke loonstroken kan ik aantonen en indien het nodig is kan een van mijn ouders garantstaan, dit heb ik ook bij mijn vorige woonruimtes gedaan voor extra garantie, maar nog nooit nodig gehad. Ik zoek een nieuwe woonplek die ik helemaal mijn eigen plekje kan maken! Verder ben ik van plan om voor een langere periode te huren. Met vriendelijke groet, Jing Mei

I studied so hard and I’m very proud of the achievement. I love practicing sports, especially basketball, and outdoor activities in general.
