I am a Historian moving to the Netherlands to teach history in secondary school. I got my BA degree in History at Kings College London and my MA in Università Statale in Milan. I am currently learning Dutch studying in the language center at Leiden University. I am a clean and tidy person who likes order, cleanliness and harmony both within and around me. As a true Italian I absolutely love cooking and eating good food! Ciaooo

Mijn naam is Lole van Erp, ik ben 20 jaar oud en kom zelf uit Nijmegen. Ik heb 2 jaar geleden mijn opleiding in Toerisme & Hospitality afgerond en nu werk ik alweer 3 jaar bij Hotel Credible in het centrum. Ik werk hier als shiftleader maar ben hier ook vaak in mijn vrije tijd te vinden om te borrelen🙂. Verder heb ik nog geen (vaste) studeerplannen aangezien ik ook 32 uur per week aan het werk ben. Ik ben een redelijk rustig/zelfstandig persoon, maar dat betekend zeker niet dat ik niet in ben voor een praatje, koffiedrinken, feestje etc.! Mijn hobby's zijn onder andere sporten, chillen met vrienden & collega's, roadtripjes, en af en toe uitgaan. De clichés, i know haha. Wat mij een goed huisgenootje maakt; Ik woon nu nog met mijn ouders en zus in het Dobbelmannklooster in de Hazenkamp. Dit is een soort woongroep/apartementencomplex, dus ik weet al hoe het is om huisgenoten te hebben & dat daar ook soms schoonmaaktaakjes bij komen kijken. Ik vind het gezellig om met huisgenoten te eten en te chillen maar kan ook goed op mezelf zijn. Daarnaast ben ik ook redelijk handig dus als er iets gemaakt moet worden kan ik het voor je fixen. Ook niet geheel onbelangrijk: ik kan heerlijke koffietjes zetten en cocktails maken! Hopelijk tot binnenkort!

To add a bit about myself, beyond being passionate about my subject of study, I’m an avid gaming enthusiast, literature lover and the kind of guy who loves to spend at least a couple hours in the gym every day. Health, both mental and physical, is of great importance to me as a psychologist, including both my own, that of those around me, and that of my living space. Tidy house, tidy mind, as they say. In terms of economy, I'm monetarily stable and have lived on my own here in North Macedonia for over a year now, doing work as a freelance SEO copy & website content writer. My parents, both of whom are lauded doctors in my home country, are also going to be sponsoring me during my stay so payments should never be an issue. All in all, I'm super excited about embarking on this brand new chapter in life, and I can't wait to see all that Utrecht has to offer, both professionally and otherwise.
