Ik ben een rustige en georganiseerde ICT-student die graag in een schone en ontspannen omgeving woont. Naast mijn studie besteed ik mijn vrije tijd aan technologie, gamen en af en toe ga ik graag de stad in om ergens lekker te eten. I am a 30-year-old female biologist researching plant growth and resilience, starting a 2-year research position at Utrecht University in November 2026. Until november, I work at Wageningen University, where I recently earned my doctorate degree, and I have lived in the Netherlands for five years. I speak English and am learning Dutch. I am passionate about my work and spend much of my time at the university. Outside of work, I enjoy yoga, dancing, hiking, and walking. At home, I value quiet time — reading, cooking, and resting. I am tidy and organized, have no children or pets, and never host parties. Ik vind het ontzettend gezellig om samen met huisgenoten te eten, een drankje te doen, een goed bordspel te spelen of gewoon even op de bank te hangen. Tegelijkertijd vind ik het ook helemaal prima als iedereen lekker zijn eigen gang gaat en waardeer ik mijn persoonlijke ruimte als ik even rustig aan wil doen. In mijn vrije tijd vermaak ik me altijd wel. Ik speel graag wat op mijn gitaar, hou op m'n tijd van wat gamen en ga regelmatig een rondje hardlopen (met als doel de halve marathon). Daarnaast ben ik nu nog elk weekend actief als leiding bij een scoutingvereniging in Groningen. Zodra ik in Enschede gesetteld ben, ben ik zeker van plan om daar in de buurt ook weer zoiets op te pakken. Ook ben ik graag met mijn vrienden. We plannen regelmatig speciaalbier avondjes, een whiskey proeverij of een leuke, actieve activiteit, zoals padellen. Ik zoek dus een gezellig huis met een mooie balans tussen samen dingen ondernemen en elkaars rust respecteren.

Hi everyone! 😊 My name is Nicole, I’m a 22-year-old Psychology student from Italy, and I’ll be spending my Erasmus semester at the University of Twente from mid-August until the end of January. To be totally honest, heavy partying or going out to clubs isn't really my thing. My ideal evening looks way more like a cozy board or card game night (I absolutely love playing Uno!), a movie marathon, or just sharing a relaxed chat over a cup of tea. Also, a fun fact about me: despite being Italian, my cooking skills are currently pretty basic... but I’m super eager to learn! I genuinely love meeting people from different backgrounds, so I’d be so down for some cultural recipe swaps and experiencing new cultures together. I also love being out in nature, whether it's for an active day trip or just going for a walk to enjoy some quiet time, or even just sharing a peaceful moment in good company without the need to talk. That being said, I really value a healthy balance at home: I love sharing quality time together, but I’m also very respectful of privacy. I know everyone needs their own space to feel at home, and I will definitely need my quiet time to focus on my studies and recharge. On the practical side, I’m genuinely clean, organized, and well-versed in keeping common areas tidy, so contributing to chores is a given for me.
