Ik ben Kim, 24 jaartjes oud, en ik ben op zoek naar een kamer. ‘Nou wat leuk’, zeggen jullie dan, ‘vertel eens wat meer over jezelf, Kim, want wij zijn hartstikke benieuwd.’ Oké dan, omdat jullie zo aandringen 😉 Begin dit jaar ben ik afgestudeerd van de Universiteit Antwerpen, waar ik eerst de bachelor Toegepaste Taalkunde en daarna de master Vertalen heb gedaan (van het Engels en het Spaans naar het Nederlands). Daarna ben ik 3 maanden naar Scandinavië geweest :) Nu ben ik weer terug en werk ik in de bieb. Daarnaast doe ik nog een extra opleiding om mij te specialiseren in boekvertalingen. Buiten (ver)talen vind ik overigens nog een hele hoop dingen leuk om te doen. Mijn grote liefde is theatersport (competitief improvisatietheater) en daar praat ik héél graag over, dus wees gewaarschuwd. Hello, I am Jérémie, from France. I am 28 and I currently work as an engineer in a start up based in Amsterdam and Lyon. I grew up and studied engineering in Paris before going to Copenhagen where I studied and then worked for four years. I then moved to Lyon one year ago for my new job. But as my lab is in Amsterdam we decided that it was better for me to move here permanently from October/November. That is why I am looking for a place to live for the coming years, alone or in a shared flat. I have lived in many shared flats in the past, in Paris, Copenhagen, Lille and Lyon, which was always a good experience. I usually take a lot of care of the place I live in and love to decorate it as well.
