Hi, My name is Julius, I'm 28 years old, working as a Naval Architect/Ocean Engineer, and am originally from Berlin. I studied in different cities around europe and before moving to Rotterdam. After 2 years of living in my current shared flat, the house is unfortunately breaking up so i'm looking for a new home with lovely people:) In my free time, I listen and produce a lot of music and occasionally DJ, so you can expect some fun night outs with me (don't worry, no afters in the kitchen ;). I also really love water sports and try to surf and sail as often as possible. Besides that i enjoy watching niche/independent movies, going to exhibitions and the fleamarket on sundays. I would say i'm quite an open-minded outgoing person, who's up for all kinds of activities. I have my days where i just enjoy some time for myself and of course respect others if they feel the same way. Since i lived in numerous shared flat constellations (from 2 to 7 people...) in the past i always enjoyed a pretty active and vibrant concept of living together. I’ve lived in shared flats all my adult life, so I know how to be part of a relaxed, tidy, and respectful living environment. My salary will be that of a Chef de Partie in Amsterdam (From what I can tell approx. 3000€ + Tip). Unfortunately I am not able to provide a contract, as the employers wont finalize working agreements until housing is taken care of. If necessary, my parents can act as guarantors. As for myself I am a very uncomplicated fellow, I enjoy the outdoors, ciciling, dinner with friends and have a pretty mindful and healthy lifestyle in general. I'm coming to UT in September to study the Bachelor in either Applied Mathematics or Technical Computer Science (I was intending to do both, but I'm not so sure if can manage that - I'm not the best in time management). I prefer to keep things clean and I can cook, e.g. light gulash, bolonese-ish (maybe not anything elaborate, but still edible and usually tasty). I'm a gamer, recently I've been switching between Minecraft, The Sims 4 and Civilization VI. If you add Overcooked and Jedi: fallen order to the mix, you'll have the general view of my gaming taste. I also like playing board games. I'm a Star Wars fan. I enjoy sightseeing. I've recently travelled to Rome in order to see an exhibition of Caravaggio's paintings and Vatican museums. I've been to Amsterdam before. I've also travelled to other European countries, i.a. Germany, Spain, Lithuania and Slovakia. I'm a bit of an adrenaline junkie (I find rollercoasters a bit boring). I've heard there's a laser tag in Hengelo and I would love to try it.
