Hello there! I'm a self-employed multidisciplinary creative professional (photographer/creative director/media background) who relocated to the Netherlands from the U.S. in February. I have a valid visa & residence permit, a business registered with the KvK, a growing network of Dutch friends and a sense of community, having previously spent extended stays in the NL twice in two years. This time, my move is permanent. I have never felt more at home than I do with my feet in the ground in the Netherlands. I am in LOVE with Het Gooi region, where I'm and am temporarily staying. I know every trail, every neighborhood, farm and public transport access from Bussum, Huizen and Blaricum to Laren and Hilversum. I'm also familiar with Naarden, LOVE Baarn, Hoorn, Haarlem, Amersfoot and Den Haag - where I have friends. I'm aware of the housing shortage, and will happily consider any availability within a 90-minute commute by public transportation to Amsterdam, where much of my work seems to be. I have an excellent rental history and personal references and I care for my space. I have a green thumb, love people, adore animals, art, am newly enthusiastic about golf, opera, and even the raindrops most complain about - there's serenity in gray days, too! I would love my independence and a studio or apartment, but I also understand the housing shortage yields few or unaffordable rentals, so I'd be open to discussing sharing in a bright, comfortable place with someone kind and respectful, who appreciates some privacy and room to breathe. :) I have no pets, but huge bonus if you do! ;) Registration is necessary. Hee, ik ben Joep(22), masterstudent en ben dit jaar begonnen aan de ME master high tech track. Mijn dagelijks leven laat zich het best omschrijven als “go with the flow”. Staat er wind, dan ga ik windsurfen; ligt er sneeuw, dan sta ik op ski’s of een snowboard; schijnt de zon, dan ga ik hardlopen, hockeyen of chillen bij Plankenkoorts; en bij slecht weer ben ik vaak in de boulderhal te vinden. En ja—als er een deadline is, duik ik ook de boeken in. Op dit moment ben ik opnieuw op zoek naar een kamer, omdat mijn huisbaas heeft besloten over te stappen van studenten naar gezinnen. Voor mijn huidige kamer heb ik al op twee andere plekken gewoont, dus samenwonen is voor mij niets nieuws. Hey! I’m Marta, from Mallorca, currently finishing my Bachelor’s in Barcelona and moving to Delft in August to start my Master’s. I’ve been living with roommates for the past 4 years, so I’m really used to shared living and making a place feel like home for everyone.
