Hoi! Ik ben Daniel (27), oorspronkelijk uit Duitsland, en vanaf oktober begin ik als fulltime onderzoeksmedewerker aan de TU Delft, waar ik onderzoek doe binnen de sociologie van klimaatfinanciering. Mijn contract is voor één jaar, maar het kan uitgroeien tot een promotietraject. Voor nu kijk ik vooral of een carrière in de wetenschap bij mij past. Ik heb net mijn studie in Londen afgerond en kijk er erg naar uit om aan mijn eerste "echte" baan te beginnen. Een kleine waarschuwing: ik spreek nog geen Nederlands (alleen Duits, Engels en een beetje Spaans), maar ik ben zeker van plan om het te leren. Ik ben een ontspannen en gezellige huisgenoot, kook graag (meestal vegetarisch) en ben makkelijk om mee samen te wonen. Ik woon al jaren in gedeelde huizen en vind dat nog steeds erg leuk. Of het huis nu heel sociaal is of juist wat rustiger, allebei is prima – zolang we niet alleen als vreemden langs elkaar heen leven. I'm originally from Germany, studied and worked in Design in Weimar, and I'm someone who genuinely loves shared living. I've lived in shared apartments for 5 years, so I know what makes it work: mutual respect, clear boundaries, being there for each other, and keeping shared spaces clean and comfortable. Living together well is something I take seriously – and enjoy. Outside of studies I love cycling, hiking, sitting in cafés, and exploring new places. Vriendelijke Chemische Technologie student die op zoek is naar een kamer in Rotterdam. Ik vind Nederlandse Literatuur prachtig, ik houd van yoga doen en ik vind muziek maken erg leuk (dit doe ik direct naar mijn laptop zodat er geen geluidsoverlast is). Ik zit verder in wat bandjes met vrienden. Vanaf 1 september ga ik een stage starten voor mijn opleiding die 5 maanden duurt.
