I’m a 22-year-old student and will start my MSc degree at Erasmus in September. Currently I live in Eindhoven, where I completed my bachelor’s degree. In my time here I come from Poland, however I have lived most of my life in Ireland (13 years), before moving to the Netherlands for university. During my time in Eindhoven, I helped organise activities from my study association, I did a student team part-time and was part of a volleyball team for 3 years, so I like to keep myself busy. In Eindhoven most of my friends were Dutch and spoke Dutch to me, so I can almost fluently understand Dutch, and speaking is a work-in-progress. While I enjoy social activities, I am also an ambitious student; I completed my BSc in 3 years and will follow 2 MSc programs. I am outgoing, but also like to relax at home from time to time whether it is board games or watching a series. I am a tidy person and always clean up after myself. I enjoy cooking and know how to make a meal or two. What I value in a house is a relaxed atmosphere, where there are people to just chill with, but where I can also find some space for myself to relax. I usually spend most of my time on campus either studying or working. In terms of shared facilities I care the most about kitchen as I like to cook a lot, I prefer if it is kept clean by all members of the house. Hi! I'm Linus, 22 years old and currently living in Austria. I have already obtained a degree in Comparative Literature Studies and will be starting another Bachelor in Psychology in September of 2024 at Leiden University. Therefore I am currently on the lookout for possible housing opportunities, where I can stay for the duration of my studies. I consider myself an easy-going person, who enjoys a little company from time to time, but can easily keep to myself as well. In the past I have already had lots of experiences living by myself as well as host families. In my free time I love to read, go to cafes, meet up with friends and relax in my room. I like to come to Amsterdam in the Summer for work as a juggler. I'm a quiet and chilled out housemate, who likes to live in a tidy space. Will happily share vegetarian meals with housemates every now and then, but my working schedule means I will mostly be out of the house from midday to 11pm. When I have time off I love to play board games and computer games, as well as practice my juggling, or other fun things like frisbee. My work requires I bring a 30kg box of equipment, so I appreciate ground floor or first floor flat close to Dam Square, or an elevator.
