I'm tidy, I respect shared spaces, and I like getting to know the people I live with rather than just passing in the hallway. I'm Italian, an EU citizen so no visa needed, and I'll need to register at the address (BRP) once I move in, since I'll be staying more than 6 months. Goedendag! My Name is Nora, I am 21 years old and I will be starting my Bachelor in Psychology at RU this September. Therefore I will be moving from Berlin (where I currently live) to Nijmegen and I am looking for a room to call home. Here is a little bit about myself: After graduating from high school in 2024, I worked, travelled in Europe for two months and lived with a family in Italy as an AuPair for three months. Through my abroad experiences I have learned to be independent and adaptable. Thanks to my exchange year in the United States in 2021/22, I speak both German and English fluently. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, practicing yoga, and spending time with friends. Besides that, I love discovering new cultures and meeting new people. I enjoy both social activities and having a calm space to relax and study. I have previously lived in a shared apartment, which was a great experience for me. Wanneer ik een woning deel, eindig ik altijd met het schoonmaken voor mijn huisgenoten, en dat is geen aangename situatie voor mij. Daarnaast heb ik een grote interesse om meer te leren over de Nederlandse cultuur en taal. Sinds ik zes maanden geleden naar Nederland ben gekomen, heb ik niet de gelegenheid gehad om de taal te leren vanwege mijn werkomgeving en woonomgeving, omdat ik altijd omringd ben door buitenlanders. Ik ben erg enthousiast om te beginnen met het leren van de Nederlandse gewoonten en taal en me zo snel mogelijk te integreren.
