Looking for a Small Apartment / Studio in Enschede from 01.01.2026

We are Ophelia (25) and Tanja (25) from Austria, but currently building a life in Amsterdam. Tanja is completing a Research Master's in Philosophy at the UvA and works as a Research Assistant for the Global Constitution Project. Ophelia works full-time as a Community Strategist at the School for Moral Ambition. We are responsible, calm and friendly, like to keep a tidy and quiet home. We are currently huisbewarder at an apartment we found through Kamernet, so we have plenty of experience taking care of someone else's home as if it were our own. We're looking for a small apartment or studio for just the two of us where one of us can register, preferably in Amsterdam. Ideally we'd like to find a place we can stay in for at least a year, starting Jan 20th. We look forward to meeting our new landlord! I speak German and English, can get by in Spanish and am currently learning Dutch. I did my Bachelor's in Glasgow, have half a year of my research master's left, and would like to pursue a PhD afterwards (preferably in the Netherlands). Ophelia: I have a background in Fillm and Communications and am passionate about doing the most good I can. In my free time, I enjoy doing a variety of sports, learning languages, making music and creating creative projects. I speak German, English, Spanish and Dutch. After travelling a lot I have found Amsterdam the closest place I can call home. We both are vegan, non-smokers, part of the LGBTQ community, don't have pets and love to cook :)
