Goedendag, Ik ben deeltijd PhD-student aan de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, bij de faculteit filosofie. Ik heb een dubbele nationaliteit, Duits en Zuid-Afrikaans, en woon al ongeveer twee jaar in Gouda (Zuid-Holland). Daarvoor heb ik in Brussel (ongeveer 7 jaar) en in Berlijn (ongeveer 1,5 jaar) gestudeerd en gewerkt. Gouda bevalt me goed, het was perfect om mijn proefschrift te schrijven, maar de verhuurder verkoopt het huis en ik moet dus vóór augustus van dit jaar verhuizen. I like to have meaningful conversations, and enjoy the occasional social event. Overall, however, I prefer a quieter peaceful environment. Hi! I'm a 23 year old student from Naples, graduated last December with a MSc in Mechanical Engineering. I'm starting a second MSc in Nuclear Fusion at TU/e in September, as a scholarship winner, and I'm looking for a room around campus. I'm a very sporty person (2x national rowing champion, but won't tell anyone!), worked as a personal trainer during my studies, and I've been practicing all kinds of sports. I also have a big passion for music, I play piano and guitar (with headphones...) and I can't wait to attend Dutch festivals and concerts. Hi, I'm Huub. I am a graduating master student Industrial Design Engineering at the UT. I am 26 and in my 7th year of studying, bust almost finished. My hobbies are mostly creative. Drawing, painting, baking and cooking are things I enjoy. I am in two bands as a bassist and I love rehearsing with them at Metropool and playing gigs at student parties or in local cafes or even events at volkspark for example. I also play the piano. I usually practice with headphones, but occansionally it is nice to use my amp but always at appropriate times. I am not big on partying or the like, but I am always down for having a beer with friends. As a "seasoned student" I am fairly used to living in student houses, but I've come to appreciate peace and quiet at home more and more.
