Hi, I'm Keshini. I'm from Mauritius and I moved to Utrecht in August 2025 to pursue a BSc in Economics and Business Economics at Utrecht University. I have been living here for 7 months now, and I've been loving it since! I'm very grateful for my parents to be financially helping me with tuition fees, living expenses as well as rent so I don't need to worry about money, but I'm also working a part time job to boost my CV and gain more experience in general. I have also been very active in the student life at Utrecht University ever since I moved here. I've volunteered as a Peer Leader for the university's welcome week in August, and I'm the Chair of the Wellbeing Committee of ECU'92 at Utrecht University. I'm responsible for leading the committee and organising events and dividing the tasks among members. So far, we've organised several events such as a karaoke night, a Chess Tournament and also a Hiking activity and many more to come! I'm also really into fitness; I go to the gym at least twice a week and do yoga or pilates at home sometimes. I love reading and travelling as well, especially solo travelling. I started travelling in 2025 and I've been to 6 countries so far and I've also visited a few cities in the Netherlands, including Amsterdam, Maastricht and Leiden. I love doing anything that gets me out of my comfort zone. I'm almost done with my first year at Utrecht University and I'm currently looking for accommodation in Utrecht and I'm available for a viewing/to move in immediately. My budget is €650 and living with flatmates is not an issue for me as long as they are respectful and kind.

Hoi, Laat ik me maar ff voorstellen… ik ben Matthijs (18 (bijna 19)) en studeer natuurlijk in t mooie Utreg en zit daarbij in mijn eerste jaar. Ik doe de studie Informatiekunde (ben geen nerd hoor). Ik hou ervan om op de vrijdag met vrienden een biertje te doen of natuurlijk doordeweeks in Utrecht. Ik ben zelfs de champ in Atje kratje frikandellen eetwedstrijd dat kan je ook niet snel zeggen. Een keertje thuishaven of ander festival vindt ik ook zeker niet een verkeerd idee. Ook gym ik met enige regelmaat en was vroeger bijna prof geworden in voetbal maar had helaas een knieblessure. Ik heb al 2 maanden in me eentje gewoond in Amersfoort, waar ik nu ook nog woon en ben ook wel netjes en schoon zou ik zelf zeggen (en m’n moeder ook). Het lijkt me heel leuk om dan toch echt het studentenleven in Utrecht mee te maken en er ook echt te wonen! Groeten Matthijs
