Hallo, mijn naam is Jonas! Op dit moment ben ik een Technische Natuurkunde bachelor student in mijn afstudeerfase. Ik ben van plan om komend studiejaar middels een 1-jarig schakelprogramma de master Biomedical Engineering aan de TU Twente te gaan volgen. Ik ben een gezellige, relaxte jongen die altijd wel te porren is voor wat gezelligheid. Of dit nou uitgaan, een film kijken of een kaart/bord spel is. In mijn vrije tijd (voor zover ik dat heb) lees, game en spreek ik graag met vrienden af. Op dit moment doe ik aan zelfverdediging (Krav Maga) en boulder ik af en toe. Ik heb ook ruim 10 jaar lang hockey gespeeld en het lijkt me leuk om dit weer opnieuw op te pakken in Enschede. Een verder verkooppuntje van mijzelf is dat ik al ruim 3 jaar in een restaurant werk, zowel in de afwas als de keuken. Zowel schoonmaken als koken zijn dus dingen die ik zo langzamerhand wel door heb. Dingen een beetje schoon en netjes houden zit er bij mij dus wel goed in. Verder vind ik het ook leuk om nieuwe gerechten en recepten te leren.

Aankomend september ga ik beginnen aan de opleiding Chemical Science and Engineering aan de Universiteit van Twente en ben dan ook op zoek naar een woning in de omgeving. Aankomend augustus word ik 27 en ik ben niet op zoek naar een kamer in een studentenhuis; ik ben juist meer op zoek naar een rustige plek voor mijzelf. Naast mijn studie werk ik in de weekenden, vind ik het leuk om te lezen, te koken en lekker buiten te zijn.

Apart from that I love to travel and spent the 2 year after finshing highschool first on a 8 month trip in Costa Rica, Panama and Nicaragua and then on a 4 month trip in Japan and South Korea. My dogs are Shetland Sheepdogs (medium-sized), both under 10 kg. I am a professional dog groomer and dog trainer, and my dogs are very well-trained. They do not chew furniture or damage the property. After walks, I always clean them properly before bringing them inside. I’ll wash them every two weeks to keep them clean. Once my freelance visa is approved, I will be working as a groomer five days a week. I plan to work at a salon where I can bring my dogs with me, so they will not be left alone at home. I do not smoke and I do not drink alcohol. I am a responsible and reliable tenant. I lived in the UK and Australia for a year each so I’ve used to live in abroad. I take off my shoes when entering the home and always keep the place clean and well-maintained. I will arrive in the Netherlands on July 17, but I am able to start paying rent immediately if needed.
