But since I have now passed all my finals, I can start spending more time learning Dutch, and I anticipate reaching B1 overall by early September and maybe B2 within the next year. My partner and I are excited to begin this new chapter as expats relocating from India and become part of the Amsterdam community. We're currently searching for a furnished 1–2 bedroom apartment starting August 26, 2026, with a budget of €2,000–€2,500. Ideally, we'd prefer a place with registration and a long-term contract, but we're also open to temporary housing for around 2 to 3months if that helps us settle in comfortably while we search for something more permanent. We're flexible on location, as long as the commute to Bijlmer Arena is manageable by public transport, ideally within 30 minutes or so. Areas like Amstelveen, Diemen, Amsterdam Zuid, Nieuw-West, Haarlem, Hoofddorp, Aalsmeer, and Heemstede would all work well for us. A bit about us: we're a quiet, tidy married couple who enjoy exploring new cities, staying active, and building a comfortable home wherever we go.
