Hoi! Ik ben Amy, 19 jaar, en ik heb net mijn eerste jaar van de bachelor Wiskunde aan de Radboud Universiteit afgerond. Ik kom zelf uit Apeldoorn, maar na een jaar veel op en neer reizen lijkt het me heel fijn om echt in Nijmegen te wonen en meer mee te krijgen van het studentenleven. Volgend jaar wil ik ook actiever worden bij de studievereniging van mijn studie, dus daarom zoek ik ook een gezellig huis in Nijmegen. In mijn vrije tijd houd van afspreken met vrienden, maar mijn relax-tijd is ook heel belangrijk voor mij, dit spendeer ik vaak door te lezen of films te kijlen. Mensen zouden mij omschrijven als rustig, gezellig en opgeruimd. Ik sta altijd open voor een praatje en ik houd van een filmavondje, spelletjes doen of samen een drankje drinken. Daarnaast ben ik netjes, houd ik rekening met anderen en vind ik het belangrijk dat iedereen zich thuis voelt in huis.

While originally from Germany, I came here to study Psychology at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and just recently graduated with my Bachelor’s degree. However, after I obtained my degree I realized relatively quickly that I would rather dive straight into working, which is why I started a stable full-time position in Business and Import Administration at Koopman International. Natuurlijk spreek ik ook een beetje Nederlands, maar nog niet goed genoeg om een gesprek op een professionele manier te voeren. Maar ik doe mijn best om het snel te leren! Tijdens mijn studie woonde ik in Amstelveen in een huis met drie huisgenoten, maar dat heb ik onlangs moeten verlaten vanwege het faillissement van de woningbemiddelaar. Omdat ik iemand ben die behoefte heeft aan structuur en orde, en ik nu financieel veel zelfstandiger ben, met een bruto maandinkomen van ~3800€ (incl. vakantiegeld en 13e maand), ben ik op zoek gegaan naar een plek die ik helemaal mijn eigen kan maken en waar ik voor langere tijd kan blijven wonen.
