Hoi! Ik ben Mark, 29 jaar oud en werkzaam als audiovisueel technicus. Na het vwo heb ik drums gestudeerd aan het Conservatorium van Amsterdam en muziek is dus duidelijk mijn passie. Hierom ben ik ook één dag per week drumdocent en speel ik in een band. My name is Nádia, I'm a 24-year-old Portuguese young professional who will be moving to the Netherlands at the end of March to begin a new professional opportunity within an international organisation. I will arrive on the 30th of March and start my position on the 1st of April. I recently completed my Master’s degree, and I'm currently working in the field of Digital Communication and Marketing. I'll initially be undertaking a six-month internship, with the possibility of extending it up to one year, depending on future developments. This professional opportunity will allow me to gain international experience while building the next step of my career!  Over the past few years, I have been very involved in International Environments, particularly through volunteering within an European Association where I worked in communication and helped organise events and initiatives for international students! Hi everyone! I’m Leonardo (23), born in Ottaviano (Naples, Italy). I’m a chronically curious person who loves learning new things. I have a BSc in Computer Engineering, and I’m currently doing my MSc in Quantum Science and Engineering, where I got hooked on the quantum world, especially superconducting qubits. I tend to be very tenacious and a bit perfectionist: I like doing things properly, even if it means iterating a lot. Outside work/study, I enjoy going to the gym, I occasionally do a bit of gardening, and I’m a big fan of football and motorsport (especially Formula 1 and endurance racing). Fun fact: when I was 12 I started watching YouTube and discovered Vsauce, back when I barely understood English, and the “mental jumps” between topics felt impossible to follow. Over time I pushed through, understood more and more, and it’s still my favorite channel because it can make any random topic interesting.

I currently work at Poke Perfect in the city, which I really enjoy. Both at work and while playing tennis I’m often surrounded by Dutch people, so I’ve been trying to learn Dutch step by step and Duolingo is also reminding me everyday🤪. For me, a good balance in a shared apartment is really important: having time and space for yourself, but also enjoying spontaneous chats in the kitchen, movie nights, cooking together or just having a funny evening together. Cleanliness is also something that’s important to me. I like keeping shared spaces tidy and making sure everyone feels comfortable in the house. I’m flexible with the move-in date and would also happily move in immediately.
