Ik heb vaker op mezelf gewoond, met meerdere huisgenoten en alleen. Vorig jaar heb ik ook een tijd in het buitenland gewoond.

Hello, hope you are doing well! I am looking for a place to rent until the end of July 2026 as I will begin my Master's in Artificial Intelligence at UvA in September 2024. I am a motivated 3rd-year Data Science student at the TU/e and TiU, passing all of my courses with high grades. Furthermore, my commitment to self-development allows me to be on track to obtain the cum laude honor on my diploma. In my professional life, I am highly ambitious and this led me to seek and fulfill an internship at ASML. (I intend to take on new challenges when studying in Amsterdam). As a tenant, I am very tidy, organized as well as peaceful. And of course, I transfer every payment on time :). In my free time, I love playing chess - I’ve been competing at the national and international level since I was eight years old, which allowed me to become a medalist at multiple national championships (I also won the Dutch Student Chess Championship in 2023). Thanks to this experience, I am a chess coach which allows me to earn around 300-400 euros a month and gives me a lot of fun. Furthermore, apart from my personal income, I am also financially supported by my family and their income greatly surpasses the rent. Hey, my name is Kerrin, I´m 24 and a soon to be Master´s student from Germany looking for a place to live in Leiden or close by that ideally comes with nice people to live with and will hopefully feel like a home for the next few years. I´m currently finishing my Bachelor´s of molecular medicine in Tübingen, Germany, and will specialize in Biology and Science Communication in the future. Being interested in communication also means that I put great emphasis on a well-functioning communication in a shared flat and with people in general. It is very important to me that everyone´s needs can be talked about and are respected (including e.g. clean common spaces, quiet times, consideration of stressfull times, etc.). I´ve lived in two different shared flats and a student residence so far and loved the feeling of community and activities like cooking together, trips, or board game nights. I´m not much of a party person but will always be happy to join you for a cup of coffee or a walk on the beach. My friends describe me as empathetic, determined, well-organized, and funny and in my free time I like to be creative, spend time outside or cooking, meeting friends over a coffee, or learn a new language. Besides English and German, I´ve had fun learning Swedish and am currently getting into Spanish and Dutch. It would be great to have flatmates who could see themselves contributing to my Dutch too. Pearks of living with me would include that I can take very good care of your plants while you´re away and that I have lots of great recipes from my time working at the bakery of my favorite café.
