Hi! I'm Kseniia, 19 years old, and I'll be starting my Bachelor's in Econometrics at Erasmus University Rotterdam this September. I'm currently living and studying in Berlin, and I'm excited to make Rotterdam my new home for the next few years. I'd describe myself as organized, responsible, and calm — I like having structure in my life, but I'm not rigid about it, so my daily rhythm shifts a bit depending on the day: some early starts, some slower ones. What stays consistent is that I take good care of my space and the people around me. At home, I value peace, cleanliness, and comfort. I'm quiet and non-smoking, and I enjoy simple, cozy things — cooking, a clean kitchen, a calm evening in. That said, I'm not a homebody 24/7; I like getting out too, whether it's cycling around the city, exploring new areas, or just being out and about. I'm looking for a good balance between home life and everything Rotterdam has to offer. As a roommate, I'm respectful of shared spaces and other people's routines, and I think good communication makes shared living so much easier. I'm hoping to find a place where I can settle in, feel comfortable, and really focus on starting this new chapter of my studies.

Ik ben Melany, 28 jaar en ik ben met veel plezier werkzaam als accountmanager bij Arval. Hier heb ik een vast contract.  Naast mijn vaste baan bij Arval, ben ik ook parttime illustrator. Ik heb met regelmaat betaalde opdrachten voor boeken en kinderboeken. ( ik teken digitaal, dus zal geen rommel maken met verf of iets dergelijks.) Ik houd van rust en ik ben dan ook zeker niet iemand die voor iemand anders overlast veroorzaakt. Tevens heb ik 2 lieve rustige katten en samen zoeken wij een mooi huisje om dat voor een tijdje ons eigen plekje te kunnen gaan noemen. Mijn werkgever betaalt mijn pensioen, dus mijn bruto salaris is gemiddeld 500 euro lager, maar ik houd netto meer over dan iemand met hetzelfde bruto salaris. Tevens heb ik geen financiële verplichtingen zoals een leaseauto. Van beide kan ik een officiële verklaring aanleveren, mocht dit nodig zijn. Momenteel woon ik noodgedwongen in een tijdelijke huurwoning. Hier moet ik 5 november uit zijn. Daarvoor heb ik noodgedwongen in een vrije sector woning gewoond en betaalde ik maandelijks zonder problemen 1587 (huur + servicekosten) in mijn eentje.
