Currently, I live in an apartment in Nieuw-West with one roommate, however, my rental contract was only one year, so now is the time for me to look for a new place I can call home. When am I moving? I am looking for a room from June onward but I am flexible and can also move in sooner! Am I tidy? I am Austrian, I think being organized and tidy is in our DNA 😄 But seriously, I think when sharing your living space it's important to clean up after yourself and just be considerate of one another (and have open communication!) Who else am I bringing? No one! It's just me and my 3 plants (but they are barely hanging on for dear life… so we'll see if they make it) BUT I am always buying fresh flowers (see picture as a reference 🌸) What do I do when I am not working? Generally, I am a quite quiet and relaxed person. Since my job is very demanding, I am usually tired when I get home. However, I am always up for a chat :) Weekends I either spend with friends at a nice brunch spot, go to a museum, the gym, or a nice walk, or just relax with a nice book. Am I a party girl? On a good day, I barely make it to 11.00 pm before I hit the bed 😴 but then again, if you wanna have a glass of wine in the kitchen and talk about life...say less 🍷 Some other things you should know? I don't have any pets, I don't smoke and I would like to rent a room for at least 1 year, but preferably longer if that's possible. I am renting out some space from my apartment. Since I also will stay in the apartment I will be your host (not a student), and as we may spend some time in the same apartment it may be a good idea to share some info about myself. I am broadly interested. I consider myself a social person. I like to be in contact with other people from all kinds of origin and like to talk about all kinds of subjects. I am an alpha as well as a beta person, I am into technical stuff as well as into languages. I do a lot of fitness at home. I have done all kinds of interesting things mostly on the area of IT, but have stopped working on a fixed position for a while now. Hoi! Ik ben Matthijs en ik ben 19 jaar oud. Aankomend studiejaar ga ik beginnen aan de bachelor sociologie in Nijmegen. Ik ben veel op de hockeyclub te vinden. Zo speel ik zelf 2 keer in de week en geef ik training aan de kleintjes onder 10 jaar. In mijn vrije tijd vind ik het heel erg leuk om te koken. Voor vrienden, familie, maar ook om mezelf te verwennen (vooral met de risotto, dat is toch wel mijn favoriet). Verder vind ik het erg gezellig om regelmatig een spelletjesavond te houden en ben ik ook altijd in voor een wandelingetje. Ik zoek een gezellig, maar ook rustig studentenhuis waarin er veel contact is tussen de huisgenoten. Denk aan samen avondeten of spelletjesavonden houden. Wel zou het fijn zijn als het huis een vrijblijvend karakter heeft. Groetjes!
