Na de zomer begin ik met de studie geneeskunde in Utrecht. Ik woon op dit moment in Drenthe en ben ik dus op zoek naar een kamer. Afgelopen zomer heb ik 2 maand in Frankrijk op een camping in de animatie gewerkt. Nu heb ik een tussenjaar en werk 32 uur in de week. Ik ben een gezellig, sociaal en net persoon. Aangezien treinen geen optie is, is een kamer echt wel noodzakelijk. Ik zou al vanaf nu kunnen huren. Groetjes, Janneke

I am Carmen, 29, originally from Austria and currently, I work as Marketing Manager at a Sales company in Houthaven (and loving it!) Initially, I moved here to study, but, eventually, I fell in love with the Netherlands and decided to stay 🤍 Where do I live now and why am I moving? Currently, I live in an apartment in Nieuw-West with one roommate, however, my rental contract was only one year, so now is the time for me to look for a new place I can call home. When am I moving? I am looking for a room from June onward but I am flexible and can also move in sooner! Am I tidy? I am Austrian, I think being organized and tidy is in our DNA 😄 But seriously, I think when sharing your living space it's important to clean up after yourself and just be considerate of one another (and have open communication!) Who else am I bringing? No one! It's just me and my 3 plants (but they are barely hanging on for dear life… so we'll see if they make it) BUT I am always buying fresh flowers (see picture as a reference 🌸) What do I do when I am not working? Generally, I am a quite quiet and relaxed person. Since my job is very demanding, I am usually tired when I get home. However, I am always up for a chat :) Weekends I either spend with friends at a nice brunch spot, go to a museum, the gym, or a nice walk, or just relax with a nice book. Am I a party girl? On a good day, I barely make it to 11.00 pm before I hit the bed 😴 but then again, if you wanna have a glass of wine in the kitchen and talk about life...say less 🍷 Some other things you should know? I don't have any pets, I don't smoke and I would like to rent a room for at least 1 year, but preferably longer if that's possible. My name is Dani, I am 18 years old and from Hungary, Budapest. I will start my studies at TU/e CSE BSc in September. I already gained some experience in the IT field, as I worked part-time as a software developer while going to high school and I am planning to continue working along with my studies. Besides programming, I am interested in finances and stocks and I watch every F1 race. I love listening to different kinds of music (rock, techno, or Hungarian hip-hop to mention a few) and I spend some time watching movies or series. I use headphones mostly, but I am open to socialize/party with my future housemates of course. I also like doing sports such as volleyball or basketball (even though I am not too good at it) and I go to the gym regularly. I speak English fluently and Russian (around B1 level) and I am eager to learn Dutch as soon as possible.

Outgoing and spontaneous. I care a lot lots for the people I live with. Like to do sports and be outdoors and communal living with housemates with everyone being independent too.
