I’m a 19 year-old Italian student, who is looking forward to studying physics in Groningen from the next academic year so I think I will move here at the end of August. I love discovering new places but more than anything meeting people from other countries and different cultures, I'm veryy friendly and I can easily connect with everyone. I really like soccer and watching matches in company. While I like being around people, I'm very calm and also need some time alone, in fact one of the things I need during the day is meditation and I'm looking into starting practicing yoga, I also really like reading books and listening to music. I would love an environment where I can share my spare time with my roommates by doing things like watching football or tennis matches, playing table games watch movies or series together. And at the same time I would like a setting that gives everyone their own space and time to study peacefully. Last but not least, I’m a very tidy person and I like order so I will take care responsibly of my future accommodation.

I am Sander, a quiet, decent boy. Next year I will be in the master's phase of my Public Administration studies and will be active for another year at the study association there, which is why I am still looking for a room, preferably with not too many housemates and few obligations. I don't go out often, so it's not necessary to be in the center of the city. Important criteria I have for a room are that there is a kitchen and a separate bedroom and that there has been no smoking in the house.

Na de zomer begin ik met de studie geneeskunde in Utrecht. Ik woon op dit moment in Drenthe en ben ik dus op zoek naar een kamer. Afgelopen zomer heb ik 2 maand in Frankrijk op een camping in de animatie gewerkt. Nu heb ik een tussenjaar en werk 32 uur in de week. Ik ben een gezellig, sociaal en net persoon. Ik werk full-time bij een non-profit in Den Haag die zich richt op internationaal ontwikkelingswerk en het versterken van lokale regeringen in conflict- en ontwikkelingslanden. Als geboren Amsterdammer ben ik enthousiast om op weer op zoek te zijn naar een kamer in Amsterdam nadat ik een hele tijd in Barcelona en Montreal heb gewoond! Als huisgenoot ben ik een sociale, nette, en rustige jongen. Ik hou erg van koken en ben dus zeker vaak te porren voor een goede maaltijd met een drankje erbij. Qua hobbies kan je me vaak vinden in de bergen op een beklimming of in de boulderhal. Ook maak ik veel (analoge) foto's en bak ik brood! Hello, my name is Jay and I'm a 27 years old Jazz musician from Vitoria-Gasteiz in the north of Spain. This last few years I've been studying Jazz Guitar in the Conservatoire of Pamplona, Spain from which I've just graduated and also working as a guitar teacher in different places. My idea for the future is to find an affordable room/home in Amsterdam and apply for the Conservatorium van Amsterdam for the next term as I visited a couple of months back and I fell in love with the place and the music scene which I must say it's truly captivating. Personally, I'm a peaceful person, I spend most of time studying music or practicing in my room (I use headphones to practice, I don't want to bother anyone with my music), I'm not really a party person, I enjoy my peace and quiet and I love to read or go watch art/paintings in a museum...I also like to keep the house tidy, I've shared a house before with flat-mates and we used to have like a cleaning schedule that worked well just so everyone enjoy their time and have space to do their own thing in peace. Ik ben een rustige en serieuze jongen van 19 jaar en ik zoek een kamer voor de dagen dat ik in Leiden moet zijn om er te studeren en te slapen. Momenteel reis ik vanuit Nijmegen op en neer naar Leiden voor mijn studie Taalwetenschap. In het weekend en de college-vrije periodes zal ik thuis in Nijmegen zijn. In mijn vrije tijd luister ik naar muziek en kijk ik films en series, altijd met een koptelefoon. Ik rook niet en drink geen alcohol. Ik ben wat meer op mezelf en graag alleen, ik zal dus niet of nauwelijks bezoek ontvangen. Maar een praatje is altijd gezellig. En ik hou van bordspelletjes.
