Hi everyone! I'm Lola, 22 years old and from Vienna, Austria. I'll be moving to the Netherlands at the end of August to get my Masters in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University (The Hague Campus). Ideally, I'm trying to find a room in a shared apartment/house with roommates or a small apartment/studio either in The Hague, Leiden or Delft to rent for a little more than a year starting mid-August. I'm very excited to be studying "abroad" (or away from home, I guess) again, as I find that experiencing new cultures is one of the best things a young person can do. I'm a huge fan of traveling and I got my Bachelor's degree in the United States, so I think living somewhere different in Europe for my Masters will be a cool change. I'm used to living with people, I've always grown up with siblings and spent the last four years living with 1, 2 and all the way up to 6 people, so I'd say I'm quite adaptable and know how roommate life works. As for my free time, I looove all things food and going out to eat, hanging out with my roommates, reading, going out on the weekends but also having fun nights in. I would describe myself as outgoing, responsible, independent, easygoing, and fun to be around. I'm also a very active person, I've played tennis my whole life and played college sports while in the US but generally enjoy most sports (especially volleyball and football). I don't speak Dutch yet BUT I'll be learning, so for now I hope my German and English (and humble French) will suffice :). Excited to meet you guys!!

In het weekend rijd ik ook graag op de motor, vind ik het gezellig om een biertje te doen met vrienden, of naar een rave te gaan. Maar ik vind het ook leuk om (bord)spellen te spelen met vrienden. Ik ben een grote dieren vriend. Reizen vind ik ook erg leuk om te doen, ik ben dus nu een tijd wezen reizen en tijdens mijn bachelor heb ik een half jaar in Praag gestudeerd. Ik ben vegetarisch, maar ik heb er geen problemen mee dat anderen vlees eten of om er mee te koken. Ik zoek een huis dat natuurlijk gezellig is, ook lijkt het me leuk als er vaak samen gegeten wordt en soms een huisavond of andere activiteit is. Maar ook ruimte voor wat rust en chillen
