Hi! My name is Syrine, and I'm from France! I'm 17 years old (turning 18 in 3 months), going to Twente for the upcoming academic year for my first bachelor year in Applied Maths, and therefore looking for accommodation for at least a year. Ideally I would like to move in between end of July and the 15th of August for the kick-in, but I remain flexible. French is my mother tongue, I speak English at a C1 level and German at B2. I would describe myself as a friendly, calm and sociable person. I love meeting new people, I adapt easily to new environments and I enjoy a good atmosphere and doing fun things together. In my free time, I play piano — something I've been doing for about 12 years and really hope to keep up in the Netherlands. I also go to the gym, do some climbing when I get the chance, and love spending time with friends whether it's going out, biking, hiking, or just chatting at a bar. I'm respectful of shared spaces and always make sure to keep things clean and tidy. I have a big group of close friends back home, and living and travelling with them has taught me how to share a space while being considerate of the people around me.
