I came here for my studies, and last year I graduated from my MSc in Finance and Investments at RSM in Rotterdam. Currently, I work in M&A Deals Advisory at a Big Four firm, and due to my long commutes for work, I am looking to move to Amsterdam for the long term. I would describe myself as easygoing, tidy, and considerate of others. I value a clean and comfortable shared space, and I am someone who communicates openly and respectfully. I enjoy having a friendly connection with housemates, whether it's having dinner or doing something together occasionally, but I also respect everyone's need for personal space and quiet time. In my daily life, I am quite active, and I keep a balance between working, studying- currently I am intensively learning Dutch, as well as relaxing. In my free time, I enjoy doing different sports such as running, playing tennis, or kickboxing. I also enjoy exploring places around the city, such as cafes or restaurants with friends. Hoi, Ik ben Myrthe,19 jaar, woon in het mooie Heukelum en ben net geslaagd voor mijn vwo eindexamen. Mijn hobby's zijn spelletjes doen met vrienden, mijn oude schakelbrommer/karten, badminton en naar concerten gaan. Ik vind koken ook leuk maar het opeten is toch echt het leukste onderdeel. En ik ben gek op reizen. Ik heb ook nog 8 jaar muziek gemaakt maar ik ben een paar maanden geleden gestopt met trombone spelen omdat ik de sfeer bij de vereniging niet meer trok. En als allerlaatste ben ik jeugdleider bij mijn vrijwilligerswerk, waar ik mee stop als ik naar Enschede kom. Momenteel werk ik 4 dagen als hovenier als vakantiebaantje. En ik werk al meer als een jaar in een Grieks restaurant waar ik leidinggevende ben over de bediening en de keuken. Ik ben een rustig persoon die altijd wel in is om wat te doen omdat ik eigenlijk niet zo goed stil kan zitten. Ik ga mechanical engineering studeren op de UT. Ik ben Mayté, 22 jaar. Ik ben van België🇧🇪🇬🇭 en afgestudeerd als grafisch vormgever. Het laatste jaar van mijn Bachelor heb ik in Utrecht gewoond en wil graag in Nederland blijven wonen. Ik ben een rustige, sociale en propere huisgenoot en heb al eerder met 4 huisgenoten samengewoond. In mijn vrije tijd ga ik graag inline skaten, doe aan lezen, boekbinden, alles wat een beetje te maken heeft met creativiteit! Ik zoek naar een kamer om de overgang van studentenleven naar werkleven te overbruggen. Ik ben nu in het process van soliciteren en interviews.

Ik ben Philine en ik ben 19 jaar (in oktober wordt ik 20). Ik woon woon in de buurt van Rotterdam. Komend studiejaar begin ik aan de studie Notarieel recht. Ik vind het leuk om regelmatig te koken en bakken, zoals lekkere pasta’s of kardemom buns. Daarnaast vind ik het ook leuk om thuis koffie’s te maken, maar ergens in de stad een koffie halen vind ik ook hartstikke leuk. Ik ga ook graag naar musea en vind het ook leuk om zelf creatief bezig zijn (breien of naaien). Ik ga soms ook naar concerten van bijvoorbeeld Olivia Dean en Tom Misch en luister ook graag naar Deense muziek, ook al spreek ik de taal niet haha. Op dit moment ben ik ook veel op de golfbaan te vinden, ik speel al lange tijd golf en ik vind het heerlijk om in de buitenlucht rond te lopen en mijn spel te verbeteren. Het lijkt me erg gezellig om met elkaar leuke dingen te doen, maar ik vind het ook fijn om tijd voor mezelf te hebben. Ik ben netjes en georganiseerd, heel betrouwbaar en ook wel bescheiden, maar vind het zeker belangrijk om zo nu en dan gezellige dingen te ondernemen en er voor elkaar te zijn.

I am a 20-year-old Norwegian student currently studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Stavanger. From 25 August until 31 January, I will be studying at the University of Twente as an Erasmus exchange student, where I'll be starting my third year. My stay is financially secure through my Erasmus grant, a part-time job, and support from my parents, so paying rent on time will never be an issue. In my free time, I enjoy 3D modelling, football, basketball, and going to the gym, especially powerlifting. I would describe myself as organised, tidy, and respectful. I like to keep my living space clean, and I'm considerate of the people I live with. I enjoy being social but also appreciate a quiet environment where everyone can study and relax. I was also part of UiS Aerospace, the student rocket engineering club at my university, where I was responsible for the launch rail team. Being involved in the project taught me a great deal about teamwork, responsibility, and communication. I have always treated every place with respect and followed the house rules. I am looking for a comfortable and friendly place to live during my exchange semester, and I believe I would be a reliable and considerate housemate.

After a 6-month gap spent in France working and learning a new language, I am starting a master’s in engineering at TU Delft this September. I am looking for a room in a student residence, as I believe it would represent the perfect environment to live this experience. I have always shared living spaces and I’m used to communicating with my roommates to help keep a comfortable and friendly space for everybody. I lived in a double room during the 3 years of my bachelor, in a student residence during my Erasmus and in a shared apartment during my last experience abroad.
