Throughout my life, I've learned to play a few instruments (saxophone, piano, flute, bass, etc.), but my favorite is definitely the saxophone. I'm currently studying in Valencia, but I'm from a nearby city called Castellón (small and pretty), where you can be at the beach in 20 minutes by bike and where it seems like it's almost always spring. I am passionate about art, and I love making plans that have to do with it (visiting museums, seeing concerts, painting, designing... basically anything). I enjoy nature and making plans for the outdoors, I love animas, meeting new people, going out, going to the gym, going to a bar for a drink, among other things. I love having time for myself, and probably my favorite thing in the world is to stay at home with a blanket and read, watch a movie, listen to music, or just relax. I have spent the last 3 years living in Rotterdam for my Bachelor's, and this September I will be starting a Master's in Cognitive Neuroscience in Maastricht. I have been living in shared apartments for the past 5 years, so I am very used to sharing a space and being considerate of the people around me. I like it when a shared apartment feels a bit social, and it's nice to occasionally hang out with the people I live with. I really value good communication and am mindful of keeping shared spaces clean and comfortable for everyone. I enjoy cooking and baking, which tends to work out quite well for the people I live with. My other amazing qualities include being the owner of a somewhat fancy espresso machine and an air fryer. I am pretty easygoing at home and generally like to keep things relaxed. After a long day I am usually happy to unwind for a bit, but I also enjoy spending time together, whether that's cooking, playing games, watching a show, or sharing a glass of wine. Hoi! Ik ben Ishara, 22 jaar oud, en momenteel bezig met afstuderen in Toegepaste Psychologie. Vanaf september start ik aan een nieuwe bachelor Psychologie aan de Radboud University. Sinds mijn 18e woon ik al op kamers in Nijmegen en inmiddels heb ik hier echt mijn eigen leven opgebouwd. Op dit moment woon ik in een studentenhuis met een vrij zelfstandige kamer (eigen keuken en ongeveer 30m²), maar ik merk dat ik nu toe ben aan een volgende stap: een eigen studio of appartement waar ik wat meer rust en mijn eigen ritme kan hebben. Ik ben erg zelfstandig, rustig en netjes. Ik hou van een schoon huis en ben eerlijk gezegd een beetje een stress-schoonmaker, er gaat dus wekelijks wel een doekje over alles heen en de stofzuiger wordt regelmatig gebruikt 😄. Ik ga niet vaak uit, organiseer geen feestjes en ga respectvol om met mijn woonomgeving. Natuurlijk heb ik soms vrienden of familie over de vloer, maar verder leef ik vrij rustig. In mijn vrije tijd hou ik van lezen, spelletjes spelen, samen eten met vrienden en gewoon gezelligheid opzoeken. Ik zoek vooral een fijne plek waar ik me thuis kan voelen. Omdat ik volledig op mezelf ga wonen, vind ik het ook belangrijk om goed en open contact te hebben met een huisbaas/verhuurder en duidelijke communicatie te hebben met elkaar.
