Hoi! Mijn naam is Lily, ik word in september 18 jaar en ik ruil het bruisende Brussel binnenkort in voor het mooie Utrecht. Vanaf het nieuwe collegejaar start ik aan de Universiteit Utrecht met de Academische Pabo. Ik wist al vroeg dat ik het onderwijs in wilde, en deze studie is voor mij de absolute droomstap. Thuis in Brussel ben ik een gezellige en levendige boel gewend: ik woon daar met mijn ouders, mijn broertje van 10 en mijn tweelingbroertje en -zusje van 4. Door dat dynamische gezin ben ik heel zorgzaam en zelfstandig ingesteld, heb ik geleerd om goed tegen een stootje te kunnen en weet ik als geen ander hoe je rekening houdt met elkaar in één huis. Omdat Utrecht een gloednieuw avontuur voor me is, zoek ik niet zomaar een vierkante meter, maar een gezellige thuisbasis. Ik ben perfect tweetalig (Nederlands en Frans) en spreek ook Engels, wat handig is in een internationale stad. I am 19 years old, from Munich, Germany, and moving to Delft to start my bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering. I am the oldest of four siblings and used to doing my share around the house, such as cooking once a week for my family, doing laundry and helping to clean. I enjoy playing games with them and the fact that I am not often home alone. In year 11 I organised half a year abroad in New Zealand for myself, where I lived with a host family. I am therefore used to settling into a new environment and to living in and respecting someone else's home. Hobby-wise, I love outdoor sports such as mountain biking and kitesurfing. I love playing spikeball, volleyball and football with friends, as well as cooking together, having board game nights and dancing at parties.
