I am starting my Bachelor degree at Leiden university this September for psychology, so I am looking for a place to stay during my studies. As I am coming from Canada, anywhere that I can stay for at least one year is suitable for me. I am easygoing and social, but enjoy peace and quiet so I can focus on my studies and artistic passions. I will have a steady and reliable income as a student from jobs, loans and family, and my guarantor living abroad — and I am willing to pay additional deposits or extended rent. I have friends and family in the Netherlands as well, who are very gracious and willing to help if necessary, such as attending viewings for me.

I come from a multicultural family - my mother is of Slovak origin and my father is of Colombian origin, so I have both nationalities and I have applied in Saxion University with my Slovak nationality, although I currently reside with my family in the capital of Colombia, Bogota. I am 17 years old and I have just finished my secondary school in Bogota, but very soon I will turn 18 and I consider myself mature enough to move away from my family and embark on a new path at Saxion University. In my multicultural family I have learned since I was little to travel a lot and enjoy adventures of all kinds. From a very young age I have started racing swimming training and today I am the performance swimmer affiliated with the Swimming Federation of Colombia and also of Slovakia. I hope to continue with this hobby also in Holland, since I like sports in general. Outside of sports, perhaps like most young people of my age, I like music and video games.
