I am an incoming student at Leiden University, hoping to start in February 2025. I would be doing a Master’s in Biology - specialising in genetics and biotech! I’ve graduated from my bachelor’s degree in Biosciences last year from Technological University Dublin and have been working in a lab for a big pharma company since, which is what made me realise I’d definitely want to go into genetic research. I’m 22 years old! I live in a commuter town near Dublin, Ireland. I was born here but my parents are Romanian. I love going out and socialising, but a lot of the time would prefer some good alone time, I really like making a routine for myself. I don’t really smoke or vape. I am looking to rent from the 1st of February, but there is room for flexibility around this if needed. I would just be renting for myself of course! I understand that there is a housing crisis in The Netherlands at the moment, so I understand if priorities are already put in place for Dutch students - I empathise greatly with this situation as Ireland is the same.
