Hi, I’m Emily! I’m a 33-year-old American female who has been living in Prague for the past two years, and come July, I will be moving to Amsterdam for work. I recently received a postdoc position at the Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica, where I will be analyzing mummies (and other ancient human remains) using X-ray imaging. Outside of work, I love being active and outdoors. I consider myself a sporty person, e.g. swimming, hiking, climbing, tennis, biking. My less active hobbies include poker, billiards, sauna, and museum visits. In regards to past living experiences, I have been a tenant for over 15 years and have always maintained friendly relations with my landlords and housemates. I consider myself a responsible and clean person (I know everyone says this, but it is very true in my case!). Additionally, I value a peaceful and quiet home environment. I have no pets and don't smoke.

I am passionate about the Aersopace industry, and I am very focused on my studies at Politecnico di Torino, which take up most of my time. However, I have many hobbies too. I will have to live in the Delft area for two years, but I am open to staying in different places throughout that time.
