Hi everyone! My name is Krzysztof, I'm 19 years old and I'm moving from Poland to Nijmegen this August to start my Bachelor’s in Artificial Intelligence at Radboud University. I’m a calm, organized person who truly values his alone time and privacy to recharge, clear my head, and focus on my studies. I'm definitely not a non-stop party animal, but I do enjoy a good balance! Once every while, I love to head out for a casual weekend walk around town, grab a kebab, or share a beer and a good laugh with friends/housemates. In my free time, I’m a big tech enthusiast (currently into low-level programming in Rust) and a passionate long-distance cyclist. Back in Poland, I regularly did 50-70 km trips, and my dream is to bike all the way from Nijmegen to Amsterdam or The Hague someday. As for my music and media taste... let's just say it's a beautiful chaos. My playlist goes from 80s and 2000s rock (The Police, REM, TOTO, Nickelback) through metal (Linkin Park, Bad Omens) straight to 2010s pop (Rihanna, One Direction), K-pop, and even Disney's soundtracks. I'm also always down for a good TV series or K-drama. I am a non-smoker, have no pets, and I always keep my shared spaces clean and tidy. Both at work and while playing tennis I’m often surrounded by Dutch people, so I’ve been trying to learn Dutch step by step and Duolingo is also reminding me everyday🤪. For me, a good balance in a shared apartment is really important: having time and space for yourself, but also enjoying spontaneous chats in the kitchen, movie nights, cooking together or just having a funny evening together. Cleanliness is also something that’s important to me. I like keeping shared spaces tidy and making sure everyone feels comfortable in the house.
