Hey there, I'm Alec, study HBO International Business which I really enjoy. I currently live in Diemen on a one-year lease that expires in July. I'm looking for a room to rent for at least a year and to move into a place between now and July, I am able to pay double rent if needed. I am independent, have lived on my own for the past 3 years, so am used to doing my share of house chores. I'm friendly, connect easily with all kinds of people and ages and avoid drama. Social but not loud and enjoy a good conversation, yet I also like my privacy. I don't smoke, I like to cook and eat healthy and enjoy a beer on occasion. I like to fix and create things, and go to the gym or for a run just about every day. I grew up in the USA (Dutch mom, American dad) traveling to Holland often, my whole family lives here except for my parents. After I finished high school in Colorado, I moved to Hawaii to work and learn to surf. Then I back-backed to Africa and SE Asia for another 6 months, before settling in Amsterdam. Hoihoi, Ik ben Stijn en ik ga aankomende jaar Werktuigbouwkunde opnieuw proberen. Na Werktuigbouwkunde is het plan om Biomedical Engineering te doen om protheses te kunnen maken (als ik statica haal ;-;). Onder mijn hobby's vallen boogschieten, bordspelletjes, koken en uitgaan. Ik drink geen alcohol en ik gebruik ook geen andere drugs maar dat weerhoud me niet om aan de gezelligheid mee te doen. Ik ben over het algemeen erg netjes, niet alleen in woonruimtes maar ook in de omgang. Ik kook vaak en probeer vaak iets nieuws te maken. Indien er een probleem is zal ik dat snel oplossen. Ik ben op zoek naar een kamer van minstens 8 mm^2 in Delft en met een budget van 1000 euro (niet 1000 euro voor 8mm^2 naturlich ). Daarnaast is een kamer met een ietwat schone keuken en een paar gezellige huisgenoten gewenst. Help, ik wil niet meer dakloos zijn.

I understand renters are receiving lots of requests for viewings given the housing crisis, but I’d really appreciate the opportunity to arrange a viewing. During the week, I'm usually in bed by 10:30 and up by 6. I would describe myself as an easy going and independent person. I'm social, but also appreciate my time alone. I appreciate having guests but am mindful of other's comfort, and would always be open and communicative about having people over, and much the same would appreciate room mates to be open with me as well. I'm open to developing friendships but do not see this as a top priority in searching for a roommate. It is important to have a good level of understanding and respect of our mutual space. I like to keep my living space clean and organized and am the type of person to wash dishes as they are made. I'm looking to move in sometime during June. I'm hoping to find a house near Amsterdam Oost region. I would like my own bedroom, and I'm open to living with 1-3 other people. Ideally, the house would have a yard or at least a porch. If the bedrooms are sized differently enough to justify different prices, I'm happy staying in the larger or smaller room.
