Hello! My name is Balázs, I’m a 23-year-old Hungarian student, and I am currently studying Political Science at the UvA. I expect to graduate in July of next year, so I would be interested in renting the room at least until the 31st of July 2026. I have been living in Leiden for the past 2 years, but I broke up with my partner and therefore I am looking to move away as soon as possible. Preferably to a cozy room in Amsterdam or the surrounding area. A bit about me: I am finishing my Political Science bachelor this semester, but I decided to extend my studies and do an Economics related minor, which takes 1 year to complete. Aside from studying, I work in a traditional Dutch Cheese store (I can always bring some nice cheeses for you). I am also part of a student association called AEGEE. I’ve also been volunteering at an NGO specialized in the prevention of labor exploitation of immigrant workers called Fairwork. I’m a quiet, calm, and tidy person who has lived in a small town called Sopron in Hungary most of his life and has been living in the Netherlands for the past two years already. I would like to move to Amsterdam or at least closer to the city. This is because I think it is an amazing place, and my job and my school are there. I'm a non-smoker, have no pets, I pay the rent on time, I have a stable job and income, and I always respect any set rules. Aside from what I mentioned before, I enjoy watching movies, taking care of plants, hiking, biking and traveling in my free time. Hoi! Ik ben Thijs en ga in september beginnen aan het ArteZ conservatorium met hoofdvak Drums. Aangezien ik in de kop van Noord-Holland woon waarbij de reistijd met het OV gemiddeld 4,5 uur is, ben ik op zoek naar een kamer in Enschede. Ik ben een echte muziek liefhebber en ben groot fan van Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters en Greta van Fleet. Ik ben een introverte, rustige maar sociale jongen die graag een biertje lust. Het uitgaansleven is mij goed bekend, maar voornamelijk vanachter mijn drumstel. Drummen zal ik doen op het conservatorium, dus wees gerust; geen herrie in huis wat betreft t drumstel. Hi, I'm an Irish Buddhist Monk, meditation teacher just arriving in Amsterdam. I'll be here for minimum a year or longer. Like to meditate, walk and eat nice vegetarian foods. I will be a great flatmate, because I am use to share flats and I am pretty social and at the same time I like to give the space to the people and being quiet. I am organised and respectful. My work is out of the house, in different spaces, teaching how to meditate in English. Some of the schools are in Amsterdam but also in other cities. So I am busy many days of the week. Ik hou van hockeyen, Kitesurfen, shoppen, kletsen, afspreken met vriendinnen en gewoon leuke dingen ondernemen. Ik kom uit Barchem, een klein dorpje in de Achterhoek en heb momenteel een tussenjaar (vorig jaar mijn VWO behaald). Ik heb 2 maanden door Azië gereisd en vond dit echt fantastisch, maar nu ben ik weer aan het werk bij de Albert Heijn. Ik ben een vrolijke en spontane meid en heb heel veel zin om mijn studentenleven te beginnen in het mooie Groningen!
