Daar zit ik ook bij een commissie waar ik elke woensdagavond druk mee ben. Met vrienden eet ik ook vaak samen, ga graag de stad in en af en toe naar de sportschool. I’m a 22-year-old student and will start my MSc degree at Erasmus in September. Currently I live in Eindhoven, where I completed my bachelor’s degree. In my time here I come from Poland, however I have lived most of my life in Ireland (13 years), before moving to the Netherlands for university. During my time in Eindhoven, I helped organise activities from my study association, I did a student team part-time and was part of a volleyball team for 3 years, so I like to keep myself busy. In Eindhoven most of my friends were Dutch and spoke Dutch to me, so I can almost fluently understand Dutch, and speaking is a work-in-progress. While I enjoy social activities, I am also an ambitious student; I completed my BSc in 3 years and will follow 2 MSc programs. I am outgoing, but also like to relax at home from time to time whether it is board games or watching a series. I am a tidy person and always clean up after myself. I enjoy cooking and know how to make a meal or two. What I value in a house is a relaxed atmosphere, where there are people to just chill with, but where I can also find some space for myself to relax. I also uploaded some relatively recent pictures which hopefully give a good impression of me :)

Ik werk full-time bij een non-profit in Den Haag die zich richt op internationaal ontwikkelingswerk en het versterken van lokale regeringen in conflict- en ontwikkelingslanden. Als geboren Amsterdammer ben ik enthousiast om op weer op zoek te zijn naar een kamer in Amsterdam nadat ik een hele tijd in Barcelona en Montreal heb gewoond! Als huisgenoot ben ik een sociale, nette, en rustige jongen. Ik hou erg van koken en ben dus zeker vaak te porren voor een goede maaltijd met een drankje erbij. Qua hobbies kan je me vaak vinden in de bergen op een beklimming of in de boulderhal. Ook maak ik veel (analoge) foto's en bak ik brood! Ik werk full-time, dus als huisgenoot zal ik niet altijd thuis zijn. Ik hecht zelf veel waarde aan een fijn thuis. Ik vind het dus fijn om met respect en vriendelijkheid met elkaar te wonen zodat ons huis ook echt een thuis is! Verder ben ik netjes en zal af en toe een goede appeltaart of lasagne maken voor mijn huisgenoten ;) ----- Hello! I'm Mats. As a native Amsterdammer, I'm excited to be looking for a room in Amsterdam again after living in Barcelona and Montreal for a while! As a roommate, I'm a social and calm guy. I love cooking, so I'm often up for a good meal with a drink. In terms of hobbies, you can often find me climbing in the mountains or at the bouldering gym. I also take a lot of (analog) photos and bake bread! I work full-time, so I won't always be home. I value a nice home atmosphere, so I appreciate living with respect and kindness towards each other to make our house truly feel like home! Geachte verhuurder, Wij zijn Wessel (21 jaar) en Noa (20 jaar). Wij zijn opzoek naar een appartement om samen te gaan wonen. We zijn beide nog studerende, Wessel studeert engineering mechatronica en is binnen een jaar klaar en daarna gaat hij werken. Ik ben een rustige en serieuze jongen van 19 jaar en ik zoek een kamer voor de dagen dat ik in Leiden moet zijn om er te studeren en te slapen. Momenteel reis ik vanuit Nijmegen op en neer naar Leiden voor mijn studie Taalwetenschap. In het weekend en de college-vrije periodes zal ik thuis in Nijmegen zijn. In mijn vrije tijd luister ik naar muziek en kijk ik films en series, altijd met een koptelefoon. Ik rook niet en drink geen alcohol. I am a high school student in Greece, but soon enough I will be a student at the university of Twente, in the Advanced Technology bachelor. I am a big fan of chess and I enjoy skateboarding a lot. I also play the guitar, the piano and the accordion. Music is really important to me in general and I listen to it all the time (no worries, I use headphones!). Mostly rock, classical, some relaxing pop, but also many other styles. I also like reading books, especially science fiction. I am always eager to learn new things, but I also very much enjoy teaching others stuff that I know, such as chess, or maybe just share a fun fact that I have learned. I cook a little, but am in the process of learning more, hope you consider Greek cuisine a plus!
