In mijn vrije tijd ga ik graag naar de sportschool of ben ik rustig aan het ontspannen. Ik ben heel gepassioneerd over onderwijs, mensen rechten, kunst en beta vakken en heb mijn studiekeuzes hiernaar afgestemd. Hi everyone! I'm Lola, 22 years old and from Vienna, Austria. I'll be moving to the Netherlands at the end of August to get my Masters in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University (The Hague Campus). Ideally, I'm trying to find a room in a shared apartment/house with roommates or a small apartment/studio either in The Hague, Leiden or Delft to rent for a little more than a year starting mid-August. I'm very excited to be studying "abroad" (or away from home, I guess) again, as I find that experiencing new cultures is one of the best things a young person can do. I'm a huge fan of traveling and I got my Bachelor's degree in the United States, so I think living somewhere different in Europe for my Masters will be a cool change. I'm used to living with people, I've always grown up with siblings and spent the last four years living with 1, 2 and all the way up to 6 people, so I'd say I'm quite adaptable and know how roommate life works. As for my free time, I looove all things food and going out to eat, hanging out with my roommates, reading, going out on the weekends but also having fun nights in. I would describe myself as outgoing, responsible, independent, easygoing, and fun to be around. I'm also a very active person, I've played tennis my whole life and played college sports while in the US but generally enjoy most sports (especially volleyball and football). I don't speak Dutch yet BUT I'll be learning, so for now I hope my German and English (and humble French) will suffice :). Excited to meet you guys!!

Hi! My name is Caterina, I’m 22 years old and I’m from Italy. I moved to the Netherlands about a month ago to start a Master’s degree at Utrecht University. I would describe myself as a cheerful, easy-going and open-minded person. I really enjoy spending time with others, for example cooking, dinners, or playing board games, but I also value my own space and I’m very independent. Sometimes I also like going to the gym or doing some physical activity! At the moment I’m temporarily living with a host family in Nieuwegein, but I would really love to move closer to Utrecht, both for convenience with the university and because I’ve always dreamed of living in a student house.
