We're a couple moving to the Netherlands this September, looking for a calm, long-term home. Shahab is an engineer coming to TU Delft on an Erasmus exchange, and Zahra is an architect starting a traineeship in The Hague, so somewhere between the two suits us well. We're quiet, non-smoking and tidy; we cook at home most evenings, and we genuinely look after the places we live in. We're after stability rather than a short stay: happy to sign for 12 months and stay longer if it's the right fit. To make things easy for a landlord, we can provide a guarantor with documented income, and all our documents are ready to send. We're looking for a self-contained place where both of us can register with the municipality (BRP), which is important for our residence permits. In our free time, we're usually cycling, cooking, or out at a gallery or a film. We'd love a home where we can settle in and be good, low-fuss tenants and neighbours.

Mijn naam is Vlinder en ik start in september met de opleiding Forensisch Onderzoek aan het Saxion in Enschede. Ik kom graag in Enschede wonen, omdat reizen voor mij eigenlijk geen optie is (ik woon nu in Rhenen), maar ook omdat het me heel gezellig lijkt om in een studentenstad te wonen, nieuwe mensen te leren kennen en het studentenleven echt te ervaren. Een beetje meer over mij: ik woon nu bij mijn ouders en ging naar het VWO in Wageningen. Ik werkte in Ouwehands Dierenpark in de horeca en werk ook af en toe bij een foodtruck die op verschillende festivals staat. In mijn vrije tijd doe ik leuke dingen met mijn vriendengroep en ben ik een fanatieke basketballer. Ook was ik fanatiek eenwielfietser (ik heb zelfs meegedaan aan het NK). Ik vind het in mijn vrije tijd heel leuk om naar festivals of pretparken te gaan met mijn vrienden, maar even een rustig spelletje spelen vind ik ook altijd gezellig. Wat ik ook vaak doe met mijn vrienden is afspreken zonder duidelijk doel en zien waar we dan uitkomen. Ik wil in Enschede ook weer gaan basketballen bij Studenten basketbal vereniging Arriba en ben van plan om lid te worden van studentenvereniging IDent. You can trust that your property would be well cared for the whole time I'm there. On the practical side, I'm someone you can count on. Rent will always be paid on time, without exception. I don't smoke, and I don't have pets, so there's no risk of odor, damage, or allergens in the property. I'll be honest that I'm searching with some urgency, since my current contract ends at the end of August, but I don't want that to come across as desperation. I'm looking for a stable, long-term home for the rest of my Master's and the coming years as I transition into full time work.
