Ik ben al een lange tijd op zoek en wil heel graag een plek voor mezelf, zodat ik mij goed kan concentreren op mijn studie. Naast mijn studie vind ik het leuk om af en toe naar festivals te gaan, vintage te shoppen, reizen, koken en ga ik regelmatig naar de sportschool. Ook vind ik kunst, mode en fotografie erg interessant. Ik ben erg zelfstandig, verantwoordelijk en zeker ook een rustig persoon. Hello!! I am Mary, a 21 years old Frenchie who's lived in The Hague for the past 3 years for a bachelor. I am looking for housing in/near Utrecht for at least a year and a half since I am completing masters in Educational Sciences at Utrecht University! I am a tidy and bubbly roommate. I love testing out new veggie/vegan recipes when cooking and baking & looking after my plants and growing herbs to use in my cooking. Also arts and crafts like painting & jewelery making! Other than that, I like keeping busy by going on bike rides, wandering in town, going to political events & going out for drinks with friends. In the past 3 years, I have lived both in student accommodation and in flat-sharing with friends, so I am accustomed to communal living, cleaning schedules household boundaries. I prefer things organised and tidy! In terms of roommate relationship, I hope to spend some time with my roommates eating dinner or watching a tv show once in a while but I'm quite flexible since I know we all have busy schedules. In any case, I'm down for a chat around some good food once in a while :) Concerning finances, I work alongside my studies to financially support my life in the Netherlands! Hoi iedereen! Even wat kort over mezelf: Ik ben 19 jaar en kom al uit Groningen, maar voor mijn studie (IRIO aan de RUG) zou ik graag op kamers willen. Het lijkt me superleuk om met huisgenoten een borreltje te doen of een filmavond te houden, maar ik doe natuurlijk ook gewoon graag m'n eigen ding, zoals de nieuwste series kijken, sporten en een beetje gamen. Hey! My name is Willem (25 years) and I started my PhD in February at the RIVM. The project is about building models to predict the spread of infectious diseases, like our good old friend corona… About myself: I am a social, physically active, calm and tidy person. In my spare time, I do calisthenics. Mostly in the gym, but preferably outside with nice weather and good company. Outdoor activities are my favorite! Besides calisthenics, I am looking for another sport, which might become bouldering and/or cycling. I also enjoy listening to music (from classical music to heavy metal and everything in between) and still want to learn how to sing. Besides sports, I really enjoy having a chat with my roommates during dinner or a relaxed evening on the couch. I work 2-3 days from home, so there are plenty of opportunities to catch up! Hi, I’m Evalina, soon to be 20 years old and currently studying the bachelor communication science at the wonderful Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. I have always been a curious and open-minded person which is why after my a-levels I realized that I wanted something new and exciting in my life, so I decided to study abroad. Amsterdam as a city was the perfect match for me, because even though I don’t speak Dutch yet (but I am going to learn it with the beginning of May), everyone speaks English and since it is not very far from Germany, I am still able to visit my family regularly. For the first year of my bachelor, I was one of the lucky students to get student accommodation. I am sharing the apartment with another girl and we are both very organized, clean and tidy. But due to an age difference of 8 years she treated me rather like a “little sister” than an equal roommate. This made me realize that for my next accommodation I am not just looking for a place to stay but I am looking to find a home as I am planning on doing my masters as well in Amsterdam. In my free time I love to travel all around the world, do fun activities with my friends but also to have a chilled movie night. Regarding sports in really enjoy doing Zumba as well as tennis. You may wonder why I am the perfect roommate for you? I already have experience in living and running a household on my own. I am responsible and clean, and i prefer a chilled evening at home over hosting a party. I hope that i made you curious to get to know me better and I am already looking forward to meeting you! :)
