Hello! My name is Balázs, I’m a 23-year-old Hungarian student, and I am currently studying Political Science at the UvA. I expect to graduate in July of next year, so I would be interested in renting the room at least until the 31st of July 2026. I have been living in Leiden for the past 2 years, but I broke up with my partner and therefore I am looking to move away as soon as possible. Preferably to a cozy room in Amsterdam or the surrounding area. A bit about me: I am finishing my Political Science bachelor this semester, but I decided to extend my studies and do an Economics related minor, which takes 1 year to complete. Aside from studying, I work in a traditional Dutch Cheese store (I can always bring some nice cheeses for you). I am also part of a student association called AEGEE. I’ve also been volunteering at an NGO specialized in the prevention of labor exploitation of immigrant workers called Fairwork. I’m a quiet, calm, and tidy person who has lived in a small town called Sopron in Hungary most of his life and has been living in the Netherlands for the past two years already. I would like to move to Amsterdam or at least closer to the city. This is because I think it is an amazing place, and my job and my school are there. I'm a non-smoker, have no pets, I pay the rent on time, I have a stable job and income, and I always respect any set rules. Hi, My name is Julius, I'm 28 years old, working as a Naval Architect/Ocean Engineer, and am originally from Berlin. I studied in different cities around europe and before moving to Rotterdam. After 2 years of living in my current shared flat, the house is unfortunately breaking up so i'm looking for a new home with lovely people:) In my free time, I listen and produce a lot of music and occasionally DJ, so you can expect some fun night outs with me (don't worry, no afters in the kitchen ;). I also really love water sports and try to surf and sail as often as possible. Besides that i enjoy watching niche/independent movies, going to exhibitions and the fleamarket on sundays. I would say i'm quite an open-minded outgoing person, who's up for all kinds of activities. I have my days where i just enjoy some time for myself and of course respect others if they feel the same way. Since i lived in numerous shared flat constellations (from 2 to 7 people...) in the past i always enjoyed a pretty active and vibrant concept of living together.
